Contemporary Slow- Down

    I read this book as a part of the tour for Romance Me With Books!! This was definitely a slow down from my usual reads. Most are paced faster and have less focus on the main characters inner journey.  This book was a definite pace change for me.  We get very deep into things with Bas and Bella in this book.  From learning about Bella being a divorcee who is just opening back up to life to Bas who has lived the life of an arrogant man on top,  this story never stopped. I enjoyed getting their inner dialogue as well as seeing how impactful even the little things were to these characters.  I felt very connected to the other characters as well as our main characters.     The spice in this book was secondly good!! I enjoyed the moments that these two had with each other. Is good it a 4 or if 5 on the spice. Overall I'd give this book a 3.5 out of 5. As much as I enjoyed getting to see the inner workings of the characters,  a lot of it got wordy at points. It didn't d

End of The Month Wrap Up- March 2023

           We are at the end of another month and man has it gone by really quickly!! I am still participating in the Book Battle that happens every month with different themes as well as reading a bunch of ARCs and participating in Book Tours. It has indeed been a fun and trying time to get everything done when it is needed since I am a heavy mood reader. If the book I'm reading doesn't match the vibe that I'm feeling at the time, then I won't enjoy it. Even though it may be something that I would love at any other time. That aside, let's jump into my March reads!!
