Mafia Virgin- Review

Image
This book was H O T!! I really enjoyed Giacomo and Emma! They were two completely people pulled into a crazy situation. There could have been some tweaks made to the story but overall I really enjoyed it. Giacomo is the definition of grump. He walked around with a chip on his shoulder abs would throw down with anyone at anytime. He was also a delicious and buff zaddy just waiting for his queen. Enter Emma,  the dutiful, smart daughter of a Mafia Don based in Canada. To save her father she does the unthinkable and marries Giacomo. After being taken to a new country her curiosity takes her from sheltered princess to a woman who speaks up for herself. She's also the very definition of Sunshine. Everywhere she went people just adored her. Giacomo was no exception. They slowly fell for each other as they are forced to marry and make a baby. Whew are the pages on the baby making spicy!!    This book definitely gets a 5 for the spice! Dirty talking Giacomo was about to talk M

Captured by the Cupid - ARC Review

This was a very....interesting read. This was definitely heavy on the smut and it didn't really feel like there was much else. I'm not usually one to get put off by the beginning of a book but the first 10% was not that interesting to me. I started reading one of my comfort reads just to see if I needed a pallet cleanser before I hopped back into this book. I still didn't really like it. I have nothing against books that are heavy on the smut (I prefer them actually) but having a little plot to go along with it tends to make it that much better. This book to me didn't feel that way. I was not interested in Eros, and I was only a little interested in Aradia. I guess it's because I didn't really get a feel for either one of their characters before they were smitten by each other. I was way more interested in Crescendo and where he learned all this current music from. His name was so interesting as well!! Actually, I liked him more than both of the MC's i

Jardel- Review

Image
This was the first story I've read where the couple was already together. Instead of reading about how they get together we read about how they grow more in love. We learn about how they are able to break down more walls in a relationship that they already thought was good. Jardel and Solange learn to breakdown walls that they were hiding from each other in such a beautiful and healthy way. Because they were willing to put in the work with each other they grew and learned that they wanted the same thing even though they were afraid at first. This book was short, spice and sweet.    The spice in this book was HOT. The group love was like a Harem but also not since Solange probably isn't keeping the men. She's with Jardel for sure but is able to explore ethical non-monagamy. The spice was definitely a 4. Overall I gave this book a 3. I'd read a longer version of this story. It was good and I'd recommend it.

Feral Blood- Review

This book was very underwhelming. I was hoping that things were going to Amp up a little in thus second book in this series. Instead everything felt very one note. There was only 1 spicy scene and it was ok. The other times that Talia got close to having relations with the guys, they were interrupted or just plain stopped themselves. It was just UGh. That's how I felt after the 3rd time it happened. The story was good in that, Talia faced her fears and finally escaped from Aerik and his gang. Now though she has even more to deal with in the next book. She managed to get a little bit stronger but is still very weak and vulnerable. There were some big story moments that were left out that I thought would have been interesting.     Like I said earlier, the spice was meh. I give it 2 stars. It was nothing to write home about and it was just 1 scene. Overall the story was ok but had very laggy moments where things felt very slow and hard to get through. I won't be star
