At Grave's End - Review

Another book in my re-read down!! I really enjoyed this book. There was so much power on display in this book that the stakes are just steadily getting larger. I was so glad that I had the opportunity to listen to the graphic audio for this one this time. Seeing how everything has been going since Bones was added to the crew with Cat was amazing! Not only that but there was action right out the gate! Things just kept escalating from the very beginning and never really slowed down. Then there was the fact that there was such a huge event that ended up happening. It was such an emotional moment that I just couldn't believe that it even happened. I was definitely right there with the character that was affected mainly by what was happening. I just couldn't believe this really happened. When it was resolved then I was so excited and happy. Then of course there was more pain that happens. I'm going to let everyone read how things happened and then you can all come cry with me i...

Queen Takes Queen - Review

Image
We are back again with Shara and the guys!! This time they have to take on the protection the nest and each other as Shara begins to realize more and more that she's going to have a definite run in with some of the other Queens sooner than she wants. Shara is really beginning to come more into her own here and we see just how much when she gets to meet another more established Queen. Shara also gains quite a few more blood here! We get Nevarre, Ezra and the Twins. I can't wait to see how more of their personalities come out. Nevarre has an amazing accent and brings us the great Scottish accent, Ezra is an unruly bear who has a tendency to speak before he thinks and last but not least the Twins, who were desperate to finally find a Queen. We don't know much about their personalities yet since Shara just gets them added to her Blood at the end of this book. She meets Mayte Zania and her Blood when she goes to Mexico and we see how technical things can be when a Queen meets ...

How to Dump a Vampire - ARC Review

This was a good read. I enjoyed the story and how the characters met. There were some moments where I wished that I too could be trapped in a cozy little bungalow with my fated mate. It was just very cute how things began for these two. It was definitely nice to see the FMC be the stronger of the two characters. Thorn definitely had a rough time of things and you are able to understand why she has the reaction that she does when it comes to things with Draven. There were some things that I didn't enjoy as much, like at times it felt like things were kinda dragged out alot. I think that there were definitely some moments that could have been cut and it wouldn't have really hurt the story. I enjoy a book where every scene doesn't exist to further the plot but at the same time too much of that can make everything feel a little...fat. Like there was some unnecessary fat that probably could have been trimmed to make things flow better imo. It almost felt like I was reading 2 di...

Claiming the Dhampir- ARC Review

Image
This book was a nice conclusion to this Trilogy. We finally see Lorna claim all her guys. I was so excited when she finally was able to get Nathan and Elliot. I will say the reveal just makes me want to stay in this world even longer. I don't want it to end. Being able to see how things could be with everyone just felt like a taste. I'd gladly jump back into this world to learn more about the guys or even to see how Lorna grows from here. There was fighting and reveals and just ugh...so much. We meet the fae queens in this book and the king of the underworld himself!  The spice in this book was ok. I was kinda hoping we were going to get what we were teased with but alas Sara edged us into oblivion. I'd give the spice a 3 out of 5. It was ok. Since the book is short it didn't get too hot and heavy. Overall I give this book a 3. I wanted a little more from this book. It could have been longer considering it was the ending of this series. I will say it has wet my appetite...

Awakening The Dhampir - ARC Review

I am always so surprised when the second entry in a series manages to surpass the initial entry,  which I shouldn't be at this point.  But alas here we are! I was so hooked on this second book!! Mir, Lorna's Dhampir, had been awakened!! This book focuses mainly on what happens after that. How her relationship with the guys changes due to it and where they might go from there. Lorna was already BA but her Dhampir side definitely makes get more so! I loved the banter between her and everyone else in the book! But of course even more secrets are being uncovered about done of the guys and man is it juicy!! There seem to be some other elements that are going to influence how things play out with Lorna and the guys than just their feelings. I'm excited to see how things shake out in the next book!! Definitely recommend!!    The spice in this one increases. I mean we went from nothing to something!! It was hot and enjoyable. Not super detailed and short. Everyone is still g...
