Slash or Pass- ARC Review!
This book was mysterious as all get out. Even though the pieces start slowly falling into place, things don't fully take shape until closer to the end. I enjoy books that have such a pure mysteriousness about them and this one definitely did that. A small town that is haunted by a terrible past..... well not really haunted since the people there don't really seem to care and allow those responsible to continue. Still a small town gets a little taste of what they have allowed to happen. The culprits have to balance their fear of being caught with their love of family... if they even have that. All in all I enjoyed this book! The slasher vibes manage to come across nicely and the characters are engaging. As for the spice, it was ok. It definitely could have been a little more spicy. I did like what was there but it didn't like revv the engine you know. The potential was there but it just was a little out of reach. I give the spice a 3 out of 5. I'd
