Captivated by You - Review

This was an interesting read. I feel like a lot of the main issues has been fixed with the first few books so now we are getting to see how the little things that can damage a relationship are handled. I enjoyed seeing how these two are able to work through their issues and are able to come back to each other. Even though they have so much going on when it comes to the little issues that are in their way when it comes to getting married (even though they already are). It comes from both sides and not just one. Also, we get to see how things are going for the people around the main characters. Which for Ava there is a lot. From her parents and best friend to her coworker and boss. Gideon has his parents and siblings to worry about. This book was cute as well as frustrating. Oh the spice was spicing baby. Let me tell YOU. One thing Sylvia is gonna give us is SPICE. 5 out of 5. I mean 1 thousand percent. Hot, heavy and all the time. Overall, I enjoyed this book and burned through it....

Entwined With You - Review

Things are starting to get crazy for everyone in this entry in the Crossfire series. We are left reeling from the discovery of Nathan's death and what it could mean for Ava and those that she cares about. Now that he is gone from their lives, the race is on to discover who killed him. Honestly, I didn't think that Gideon had it in him. But learning that he did was also not surprising, the obsession is real. There was so much fall out from this situation and we get to see it in all it's glory. I really don't know how to feel about the situation with Coryn (I listened to this and didn't read so sp might be off). I definitely think that situation is going to come back and bite them. It's unfortunate that things had to go the way that they did. I wish Coryn was more like Magdalena. Who appears to have moved on quite nicely without being a crazy woman about Gideon. Now we are jumping into the men who are crazy about Ava. This has definitely made things interesting. ...

Reflected In You - Review

Wow. I almost don't know how to feel after reading this book. I mean Gideon and Ava are definitely running me through the emotional ringer with this one. I mean they are constantly on a roller coaster themselves! One day they are madly happy then the next day they are close to hating each other. Most of it honestly, is communication. They both have bad communication skills honestly. They feed each others hurt. Yet they are great when they are great. I mean there is a scene in this book where it's almost picture perfection. Then we get instances when one lashes out subconsciously at the other. The issue stemming from the fact that one is very close lipped about something. Which by the end of the book, it makes sense....my LORD, was I stressed while reading this. The amount of times that I stopped and just yelled at one of the other about what the heck they had going on. Like my goodness! I almost don't even know how we got to where we did by the end. The whiplash was real....

Bared to You - Review

I have no words for how amazing this book was. From the beginning to the end I was hooked on both Gideon and Ava. I enjoyed seeing how these two damaged people tried to make things work. Not to mention Gideon Cross is a dirty man! Oh my goodness, I just couldn't believe how dirty this mans mouth was! I mean wow. Not only that but if there was a character whose dominance like...leaked out of pages in attempts at breaking the fourth wall, then it's definitely Gideon Cross!! Watching these two (and Carey) go through the doubts and craziness that is life has been great. I mean there is probably no other character that I relate to more the Ava, in a lot of her reactions to situations. I can't wax poetic enough about this book. I can't wait to read the next one in this series which technically won't be a re-read. It will be the first time that I will read the second book. I definitely feel a hangover coming on after this one.  The spice in this book was top tier. I mean ...
