Ensnared - Review

I liked reading this book. The dynamics between the men in this book was definitely very interesting. Dom, Beau, Lucky, Jasper and Jayk are all such interesting characters! I think at this point my top 2 guys are Jayk and Beau! Eden definitely has her hand full with these guys. She is walking into a group of guys that are a little broken just like she is and hopefully they will be able to fill each others missing pieces. I also need to say that I really enjoy reading post apocalyptic books. Pushing the reset button on the world and having people almost be on an even playing field but still have the knowledge from the current world is a genre that just perfection to me. So of course in situations like this the people have to make the most of what they have. Eden manages to do just that on her own for awhile. Until she gets found by some unsavory characters that run her into the guys. From there she has to decide what she is willing to do to survive. She manages to discover sides to her

Halfway to the Grave - Review

I devoured this audible in it's dramatized form. It helped me fall back in love with this book and Cat & Bones!! Cat is a Sassy woman who is out to get all vampires. Until she falls for one. Bones was an unexpected find amongst the vampires Cat was hunting and meeting him changes everything. As we traverse the mystery of the disappearing women, we encounter ghouls, ghost and bad people who open Cats eyes to the realities of the world she lives in. Through this experience she falls for Bones as they go through many life or death situations. Unfortunately Cat still has deal with parents and family members who won't let her forget what she is. The generational trauma that bleeds from her mother affects Cat in the most devastating way. Driving her away from Bones despite how much she cares for him, the ending of this book left me wanting more and also sad. I have finished this series before but it's been awhile and rereading it brought back all the feels! I can&

Sin and Suffer - Review

This book was full of moments where I ended up yelling at the characters. I definitely liked the first book better than this one. I think that was how I remembered it. The miscommunication between Cleo and Kill was a little ridiculous. It made things very frustrating! Some of the things that became issues (other than the concussion) was due to them not really talking to each other...well Kill. I was definitely ready for things to get going and for them to finally off Kills no good father and brother. I would have loved this more if things were resolved and then we got to see how the change that happens at the end of the book took place over time. I will say that I  was sad at the end when we lost the people that we did. They managed to worm their way into my heart, so losing them was felt. It was very gratifying to see how things managed to work out. Though once we found out all the plans that he was making it almost made sense.     The spice in this book was ok. Most of the time
