   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. There are so many things that are thrown in here that I'm like, GIVE ME MORE!! I have to know what's going on! The principle, what's his deal because I just feel like he's involved some how. Felix Oscura, who does he want dead enough to involve Ryder? Who is the King? Is it Cindy Lou? Is the name there t

        This past month has been a very trying one for me.  I won't get back into the details but if you want to know you can check my Milestones for August post.  I won't dwell on that but I will keep it positive with the books I've read!! I've been all over the place I feel like!! I almost want to dip my toe back into some classics and maybe do some re-reads but well see. There are so many ARCs up coming in September that I can't wait to read and share with y’all!! I've had some great ARCs this month and some interesting read in general!!                                                             I really try to keep my Book life and my personal life separate but this month it was really difficult to do that. I lost someone who meant a lot to me this month and I can't help but also reflect on that. When you see my recap for the month it seems like nothing was a miss this month but the mid month was the worse. It's been a cluster of ups and downs in regards to my emotions and I have no idea how to convey it all. This will hopefully be my only personal blog post for a bit. No worries, I'll get to the book stuff but I feel the need to get this out. The beginning of this month started out ok, my daughter had her birthday and I was in shock that at just how old she's gotten. Then everything took a turn for the worst. My grandmother came home from the hospital and they said that she will be hospice until...I was not prepared to hear that. So then I stayed at her home most of the time and then the day came tha

         This story was just what I was looking for!! It hit all the boxes, from start to finish. The story dragged you in and made you feel immersed in it from beginning to end. Thats what I love about reading! Even though this is the third entry in this world and my first time diving in, I didn't feel lost. Everything was conveyed in a way that wasn't overwhelming but still was able to give me the right amount of information. I really enjoyed reading about Jake and Zorah. I am willing to go back and read the other two books in this series and I'd love to read anything that comes after. Seeing these two essentially heal each other and build each other up was beautiful. It's that ideal relationship that we all look for. This was a great read.      As far as spice, there are a few scenes in this book and each one of them was great. I love the alpha/omega dynamic and the heats so this was perfection!! I'd give this a 4 out of 5. My overall rating for this
