Earning Her Stripes

Image
This series so far has been so interesting!! I've loved watching each of the men break down a little and fall for Chiara. I've also been enjoying watching her get stronger and like the title here implies, earn her stripes. In this book we get more background on each of the guys and what happened to their sisters. It was so tragic learning about the sisters. I kinda got the feeling that we knew who the killer was and by the end of this book we definitely seem to get confirmation on that. I can't say I'm disappointed because it started to get obvious. I think in the next book we're going to see even more growth from Chiara and a lot of blood shed from her men. I also feel like her dad has something to do with what's going on. It's a feeling I just can't shake but we'll see!!     The spice in this book is relatively good. We even get a nice Lil gangbang scene in this one. If give it a 3.5 it if 5 on the spice scale. I loved the intimacy

Why Read Romance?

The typical answer I think that people think to get when they ask why does someone read romance is because they are missing out on something. They don't have actual romance in their real lives so they have to read about it through books. Which for the most part is not true. Most of the people who I know and interact with who are huge readers of the romance genre are married women...happily married women. It's more about the excitement that comes along with the story that has falling in love at the core. Seeing these big strong men who usually don't bend for anyone decide to take a step back and make an exception for this special person in their lives is a beautiful thing to see. Not to mention being able to relate to a character who has been through a situation is even better when it works out for them when it may not have worked out for you. I mean when someone reads a murder mystery does that mean automatically that they are thinking of becoming

Communication is Key

This is a review for an ARC I received of a Reverse Harem, Omegaverse novel. I will say, I have not been a fan of mixing these two together. When I first read omegaverse novels it was great because it was a different take on the normal relationship. The dynamics is what made it so interesting!! I like my Reverse Harems now, don't get me wrong....just not in this genre. So with that being said I'm a little biased but I think I can give my review without that influencing my thoughts. Let a jump into it!     Like the title implies communication in this book was not the greatest and our FMC, Willow, was out here just doing her own thang. This translated into her being kidnapped, frustration with her mates and her jumping a plane to confront people who are the reason she was kidnapped. It was a little...strange. All of these breakdowns in communication had nothing to do with her being unable to speak but everything to do with trust and her being a little silly. I w
