Rogue Games - Review

  This book was a lot less spicier than I thought it was going to be. There were definitely moments when I thought that things would happen because ya know...shifters. It's definitely a slow burn though. There were times when I wanted to shake some sense into Jamie for sure. She was working with the tough girl persona but didn't really have it took to back it up. Then to say that the fated mates thing was something that all shifters were looking forward to, these two definitely fought against it like their lives depended on it. I could kind of understand but it did go on a little longer than I thought it would. The games were very interesting and I wish we got the opportunity to see more of it. Though I do think that we just might when we get the second book. The story that unraveled with the Reynolds pack and their mother was something that I was definitely not expecting. I thought that the mother would have had a different reaction than what she gave for why she kinda forgot ...

Queen Takes Checkmate - Review

 This book was really good! The foot has been on the gas for Shara and the guys since the last book and things continue in this book. After getting everything sorted with the takeover of Sky house we then jump right into things with Ra. It was so interesting to see how things were about to play out. Even though there was some times that I thought that things weren't going to work out for the gang, the way it all played out was beautiful. I enjoyed seeing how independent some of the blood could be and how they were all able to work together despite not having the bonds that usually kept them in touch with each other. The trust that Shara had in them again was able to shine bright here. Not only that but their trust in her as well. Then there is also the trust that she has in the goddesses to steer her in the right direction. Looking at the growth that Shara has had from book 1 to now is amazing. She is confident and strong compared to how she started. This book definitely felt like ...
