   This book was ok. I am still not sure how I feel about it.  I don't hate it but I also don't love it. It was truly a meh read to me. I'm going to go ahead and say this review will have spoilers!! If you want to see my thoughts without the spoilers skip to the last paragraph!! Let's get to it!    So I couldn't really give reasons on why I was meh on this book without giving examples from the book. So I didn't like that the issues weren't big enough to warrant the actions of the characters. At this point in the story we know that the 4 horsemen have known Scarlett before this.  Everything they've accomplished til this point has been to get her back. Which... I guess. We don't really get any backstory on how everyone met our know each other. I almost felt like they were all in foster care or something with each other and bonded that way but I'm unsure. So, I was entirely convinced that I would end up DNFing this book but I started it anyway. It definitely did not end up in the DNF pile. There are few authors who can handle bully correctly. Sometimes they go over board with the bully and make you completely hate the guy that we're supposed to eventually want with the heroine. Well not in this book.  SJ Shen walked this live perfectly!! We were able to understand the brokenness that was Vicious and understand why he was the way he was towards Emilia. This allowed us to follow her emotional journey of hating him and even living him. The dual POV was done perfectly here as well. I have no bad comments really about this book.  I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading now about the other hotholes!!        The spice in this book was mind blowing!!
