    I really couldn't wait for this book to drop!! I really loved the first book and I couldn't wait to get into this one!! It did not disappoint!! Seeing Rose have to go through so much to try to get Valtu back was a little daunting and scary at times but after she managed to find him and he realized how good they were together,  I know it was a wrap. Throwing in the obstacle of him not remembering her and him being a different person than what we remembered... made for a interesting story!!  There was a lot of returning characters from previous books as well as from the first book. I wish we saw more of Bitrus but I'll take what I can get.     There were a few things that I wished were fleshed out a bit more which kept this from getting the full 5 stars. I do wish that some things happened much sooner so because the issue of Leif to me would be something that could take up more time near the end.  Unless she has another book for...

    I am a stop on the Romance Me With Books Tour for L. Hope!!    I enjoyed this read!! It didn't take that long to hook me and I binge read it very quickly!! I just couldn't put it down!! One thing after another was vexing our MCs. Whether it was their court case or trying to hide from their growing feelings for one another.  This book had it all! The side characters were also just as interesting as the main!! Which is beneficial since there are more in this series!! I secondly recommend this read to anyone who likes Mafia reads!!      There was definitely quite a bit of spice in this book! It was hot and I'd definitely give it a 4 out of 5! Overall I gave this book a 3 simply because there were parts of it that felt dragged out,  especially towards the end.      This book definitely felt like a mash up of Batman and the Winter Soldier. Our MMC is Nikolai and while he's not aa rich as Bruce Wayne he's still doing OK for himself. He's a vigilante who is watching over the city of Perish and trying to get rid of the big bad polluting the area. We find it about his secret past which almost sounds like he's Bucky from Marvel!! Minus the time travel and super soldier serum. This book definitely took a turn about half way through where he became way more interesting than our FMC.     Speaking of,  June our FMC is the Cat Woman of the story. She's a vigilante as well who takes on the less hard-core criminals until she meets Nikolai. Then everything gets ramped up to the highest degree. She works a day job where she'd rather beat up her boss than do anything else while being a vigilante takes up the rest of her days. Her story dominates most of the beginning portion of the story but gets overshadowed by...
