A Wicked Dance of Obsidian and Light - ARC Review
This was the second book that I read after getting out of my reading slump and I liked it! There were moments when I was looking at Iris with a side eye but she pulled through in the end! Iris is our FMC and she is member of an organization that is out to get rid of any unruly demons that they find. Of course most of this group think in absolutes, like so many in these types of organizations do. Of course with groups like this, that leads to complications down the line when you end up finding someone who shakes your foundational beliefs. Enter Kaiden, the leader of the opposition group of demons. Together these two organizations are supposed to keep the humans safe from demons who step out of line. So what happens when the creature that you have been raised to hate and to believe can only be evil...aren't. Not only that but they make your heart race?
