Entwined With You - Review

Things are starting to get crazy for everyone in this entry in the Crossfire series. We are left reeling from the discovery of Nathan's death and what it could mean for Ava and those that she cares about. Now that he is gone from their lives, the race is on to discover who killed him. Honestly, I didn't think that Gideon had it in him. But learning that he did was also not surprising, the obsession is real. There was so much fall out from this situation and we get to see it in all it's glory. I really don't know how to feel about the situation with Coryn (I listened to this and didn't read so sp might be off). I definitely think that situation is going to come back and bite them. It's unfortunate that things had to go the way that they did. I wish Coryn was more like Magdalena. Who appears to have moved on quite nicely without being a crazy woman about Gideon. Now we are jumping into the men who are crazy about Ava. This has definitely made things interesting. ...

A Cage of Kingdoms - Review

Another nice entry in this series! I'm curious to see who is going to be next in getting a story. I almost want a little bit more from this one! I wanted to see how things were going to end with the fairy situation and Aurelia learning more about her powers. This book felt like it was heavily her story. Even though we get some of Weston's POV, it felt like he was just a background character in her character arc. Which I guess he kinda was. Convincing everyone in the kingdom that she wasn't a bad person and that she deserved to be forgiven was a lot of work! Weston being an already established character and really having nothing to prove to anyone other than Aurelia, really removed him from being important. Then again we kinda got the same with the main story of Nyfain and Finley. Though in their story it was also Nyfain's story. He was not established and had a lot to prove himself. I did like this story because the nerds were nerding here! I loved getting to see more ...

Hidden Truths - Review

I ran through this book. It was so good! There is just something about a "crazy" man and their no non sense attitude that makes them great MMCs. I mean Sergei was an amazing character. It was sad to learn the things that he was forced to do and endure. It was so beautiful to see how Angelina was able to get to Sergei and how their love was able to grow. Seeing some of the events from the previous book, in this book was definitely nice as well. I enjoyed their story almost more than I loved the previous book in this series. All of these imperfect men, in this series have been a joy and pleasure to meet. You almost forget that these are a bunch of hard ass mafia men. Even though in this one Sergei was definitely out here on his one man army ish. I loved it. Angelina was right there with him, I would like to think that I would be the same in this situation. She was able to see through his moments of PTSD to the man inside. She was able to see how despite people calling him craz...

Radiance - Review

This was another re-read for me and I rather enjoyed it. I was able to re enter this world and fall for Ildiko and Brishen all over again. Grace Draven has made such a stunning world with memorable characters. Both of these characters are people who are very exceptional. They are thrown into a crazy circumstance and are able to make the most of it. Even though they are thrust into dangers from afar and from within. They are able to excel in spite of everything that is thrown their way. I have very much enjoyed their story as well as what could come in the next book. This book ends with a very interesting situation. I can't wait to see how what happened at the end of this book influences what happens in the next one. Luckily in my case, it's been long enough since I've read this book that it almost feels like something new.  The spice in this book was very nice. I really enjoyed watching these characters grown in love with each other. It also helped to make the spice that m...
