Teach Me - Review

 I love these two as a couple so much. Even though sometimes I really want to shake Abbi because girl...get a grip, but I still love her too. She is here for the girls who are just awkward normal people. Even though she's gorgeous and has the body to show it, she's still humble and I love that she's learning about herself. She's not afraid to try new things and doesn't do that, doubting thing that so many FMC's do when dealing with something new. She has that in other areas but not having it there was refreshing. In this book we get to see Abbi stand up to her mother a little bit more and I love that for her! Her mother is someone who loves to smother you and she also embodies the church person who just loves to meddle. They always think they know best even though it isn't their lives that they are trying to make these decisions for. I also adore her father. Kalle - ARC Review

  This was an interesting read. It was able to get me out of probably one of the worst book slumps that I have ever been in. This book took almost all the elements of sci-fi and mixed it together to make this interesting story of Kalle and how she was trying to protect her homeworld from a demon invasion. We then meet Cortan and his crew. This is where everything gets interesting. We then get into the juiciness of the story. These two have a history together. Even though they haven't really gotten the chance to really meet each other, they knew of each other. They eventually find out that together they can save Kalle's world from being taken over by the demons. Despite the fact that she is a bad ass guardian, she also has to learn to take his help. With his weird technology and secrets, they find a way to make it all work. I enjoyed the intrigue of the story and everything else that came along with it. There were some moments when I was a little meh about what was going on but ...
