Savage Love

I would like to thank Reveal Romance Book Box for delivering this book to me!! I definitely could not put it down!! I really want to get the second book when it comes out! I enjoyed this book even though the ending was like wtf. So in this book we meet Kim and Morgan. Two people from totally different worlds who happen to meet at a party and manage to change each other's lives for the better. Kim has it rough, she's dealing with the death of her mother and the abandonment she feels from her father which really shapes her perspective on everything in her life. She never forms attachments and is quick to see the bad in everyone. Morgan helps her change and realize that you can't always lash out at people. When they have problems he's there to be the rock while she is the waves crashing against him. It's very nice to see how she was able to slowly open up.  On the other side Morgan has a privileged life and he hasn't let anyone get close to him in relationships. He also allows people to manipulate him very easily. His parents manipulate him using his younger brother. Some of his friends manipulate him just because he's a good guy. They both have what the other needs. Kim has the backbone and the no nonsense attitude to get what she needs from people while Morgan is the steady one who stays calm in the face of just about anything. Unfortunately by the end of the book, all of that goes out the window. When we finally see them working through their issues and taking strides with each other that they both haven't taken before, circumstances change and things take a turn for the worst.
I hated the ending because it felt like Morgan didn't fight for Kim. Even if she got arrested there would have been ways to get out of it. Instead Morgan bows to his father and agrees to MARRY someone else. I could not believe it. I don't know what could possibly be in the next book for there to even be a next book. I was hoping things were going to be wrapped up neatly at the end of this one but alas, this is a Duet. So hopefully there is really a reason for a book 2 and I don't have to wait too long. This book definitely had the spice!! So I'm giving it a 5 out of 5 on the spice scale!! Kept me turning the pages and contemplating adding some of their adventures to my list!! Overall I'd give this book a 4 out of 5. Watching the growth of these two characters as not only individuals but as a couple was beautiful and I enjoyed it!! Would definitely recommend, actually I'm lending it out tomorrow for someone else to read!!
