Reckless Beta- ARC Review

I can't believe I just found this series!! I really, really enjoyed this book!! Even though it is a series you can jump in here and not feel like you're missing vital pieces of anything. I'm definitely going to go back and read the backlog for the shifters!! In this book we have Nash and AJ! Their story was beautifully told in this book. They just couldn't keep their hands off each other!! They both have baggage that they have to deal with on top of having to watch out for the hunters that are trying to kill all shifters. I felt so bad that they couldn't even shift and had to essentially suppress their Wolves just to feel safe! As an avid shifter reader, we all should know that this is dangerous. Holding in such a vital part of yourself for as long as they have to is crazy!! This book is heavily focused on Nash and AJ but we do get glimpses into the people around them. I love getting attached to all the characters in a world and not just the main ones. They all live in a world that I feel like you can touch. Which makes the experience with the characters and the story feel very immersive. When a character gets hurt we feel their pain. When they experience triumps we feel the joy with them. I really love that! I don't have much in terms of negatives other than there were moments of down time. By that I mean, moments when the story just didn't feel like it was constantly moving forward. We get a little bogged down in chapters that felt a little meh. Other than that I highly recommend this book!!

As for the spice?! Whew flaming hot!! Burn the pages!! Change the sheets kinda good!! I am giving this a 5 out of 5 for spice!! It's not just how often we get scenes but how HOT they are!! AJ and Nash fell hard and fast, and that's just how they like it! Overall I give this book a 4 out of 5. Like I'm almost tempted to give it a 5. I really enjoyed it! High recommends folks!! High!! I'm going to go through this backlog as soon as I'm done with all my other reads!! Pick this up when it drops on April 30th!!

   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. End of The Month Wrap Up- September '23

   We are here again with another End of the Month Wrap Up. It's crazy to say that I can't believe it again but we have burned through this month in a blink. I have gone on a trip and come back and here we are, at the end of the month once again!! I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to since I fell into a slump during the middle of the month. Still all of the books that I read were interesting in their own way. So let's see where all these books fell this month!       Favorite Character:   Avery- Avery from Wonder Light is my selection as favorite character of the month!! I loved that she decided to take some time for herself and do something crazy. Sometimes doing something different can be just what we need to shock our systems and can reset us. The Cliffiest of Cliff Hangers

    Whew,  I received this ARC for a honest review of this book. Let me just say that this was cruel and unusual punishment!! Like the title for this review says, the biggest cliff, in cliffhanger history ends this book.  The next page asks us to wait until next year for the next book.  I won't survive. I will spend the next week writing down theories of how this could continue.      The characters in this book are so memorable!! I love a snarky heroine and her dark hero. These two are actually a match made in... well hell? Darkness? I don't know but I can't wait to read more when the next book in this series drops. I definitely recommend this book!! The spice didn't come to the end but it was hot !! I give the spice 3 out of 5 simply because I wish there was more!! It was so good! Overall I'd rate this book 4 out of 5!! Great works building,  great characters, and plot. Everything is paced nicely and it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
