Bunny Honey

This was an interesting read indeed. We meet Caterina and Rex in this book and they are on opposite sides in a mini mob rivalry. B
There seems to be something going on though where family members are being murdered. Rex, as the reigning king, is trying to put the pieces together and get the Society to work together or risk everything falling apart. Caterina just wants what is best for her dad as he deals with the heartbreak of losing her mother. Then she ends up making a deal with the devil when she is called to save her dad from Rex. Of course there is a lot more going on then meets the eye. As Rex and Caterjna get closer to each other, circumstances seem destined to pull them apart. This book ends with them apart as Caterina returns to her family after spending time with Rex. This book went by quickly and I'm not even sure how to gage how much time passed from beginning to end. This felt like an introductory story. It was laying the foundation for more to come so I'm glad to see there is a book 2.
There was no spice in this book. Even though Caterina and Rex both got off, it wasn't really WITH each other. I was hoping that they would because the tension is off the charts but alas there was not. I'm hoping that the moment will be all that the build up has made it seem like it will be but we shall see. Overall I gave this book a 3. It had all the tension and stuff you could ask for but with Rex needing the help of so many and backing down so often he just didn't seem to live up to his Beast moniker. I'm hoping we get a more savage him as he deals with being without Caterina. I look forward to more from there two. The next book will definitely determine whether or not this hits the recommend list.
