This book was such an unexpected gem!! I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing the dynamic between the 2 characters!! There was so much happening in this book but it was all so interesting!! The story behind the Malone brothers however was so tragic! Like I can't believe how heartbreaking their story is. So to see at least 2 of them are getting their happily ever after just makes me smile. It was a tough road to get there though. The banter between Felix & Christabelle is just hilarious. I really enjoyed their enemies to lovers vibe! Then the reveal near the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think there is enough exclamation marks for the way my jaw dropped at that reveal!! Then it just kept coming. It's like the one reveal led to another and another. I was completely speechless Hats off to the author for this, because I had no clue. There wasn't really a lull in the story and everything seemed to have a place and a reason for what was happening. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to finish the next book in this series!

    The spice in this book was ok. It was nice to see it but I was more focused on some of the other aspects of the story. I gave the spice a 3. Overall I gave this book a 4. It was a fantastic opening to a series and it kept me interested and that darn reveal!! I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes their men morally gray and their ladies strong. I also want to start the series based in Copeland....essentially I'm adding all of this authors backlog to my TBR. RIP to me.

      In book 2 of the Betrayal series we are back with Scarlett and Axel. We get introduced to the Skull King and get even more info on the relationship between Axel and his parents. The world is almost flipped on its head in this book and it leaves some of the characters in a tail spin. I feel like while some things were fixed in this book, other things left me wanting to shake just about every character in this book. Scarlett, because for all her smarts, she's blind to the one person who is actually up to no good. Then Axel for not attempting to do something with his parentals. Something has to change with that relationship or he needs to make them accept his help in keeping them safe. It's insane to me that someone as smart as him hasn't come up with a plan to keep his parents safe. Ancients - ARC Review

I was not thinking that this book was going to be what it was. Honestly, I'm surprised that I was able to finish this. It feels almost ant-everything that I loved about this author's previous releases. Maybe I've just been steeped in the dark reads for too long or something. This book gave off a kind of self hatred that was almost an instant turn off. Sarah, our FMC, is a vampire who hates drinking blood. So she pretty much walks around half starved for most of the time we see her. So, I'm going to pause and explain why this was an issue for me. So, she proves within a short while that she can feed without harming people because she lets a man go that she was feeding on. WIthout him being any wiser to the situation. Already, she has given herself a solution to the issue. She doesn't want to kill people and we see that she doesn't HAVE to. Heat For Hire- Review

This was spicy!! I love omegaverse books and this one had everything you could ask for, heats, alphas, slick, knotting and more!! Elli is a scarred omega who is looking to find herself again after surviving cancer. She finds a kindred soul in Rhen who is also disfigured. They both are looking to affirm themselves in their roles. Elli is a human and Rhen is from a different planet but still has the ABO dynamic. I really liked how this world has everything set up and I would love to read more from this world.  The spice was amazing.  If course since it's all about heat they are banging all over the place. 5 out of 5 for spice. Overall this was a really good short read. It felt like a great book to pick up after being lost in the world of dark romance. Rhen is protective and caring for Elli. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys omegaverse and alien romance!!
