Legacy of Chaos - ARC Review

I really enjoyed reading this book! The way that this book just flowed made reading it such a pleasure! There didn't really seem to be any moment where anything that happened seemed out of place or irrelevant. It was such an enjoyable read that I just flew through it. I loved getting the chance to see this side of Stryke. After meeting him in the first book in this series, he was just a character that I really wanted to know more about. I always liked the Seminus demon storyline throughout the Demonica series and this one just added to it. The nerdy aspect of the relationship that Stryke has with Cyan was so cute! It really made me think of myself and I always love a relatable read! I might not be to his extreme, closer to Cyan when it comes to that but he was still entertaining. Also I always love getting a sneak peak at characters that we've come to know in love in other stories come back and give us a sneak look into their current lives. That's definitely something that this author has managed to do excellently! I can't wait to read more about the new characters that we've met through the Birthright series! This is definitely a must read to anyone who enjoyed the Demonica series and if you're new to Larissa's series as well! PNR, dark romance, and monster lovers will LOVE this series (heck everything from Larissa actually).

The spice in this book was fantastic! I would definitely give this a 4 out of 5 on the spice scale. It was nearly a 5. The way that things are approached here with an incubi type was special. I love how they explored intimacy in their relationship. How things were different with Cyan despite the fact that Stryke was definitely far from a prude due to his nature. Overall I am super close to giving this book a 5...heck I think I will. 5 out of 5. I really enjoyed this book. It has re-read potential and it was just plain enjoyable. It felt seamless. The whole experience of actually reading it made me stay up and read it. Of course, because you know, sleep is for the weak when it comes to good books! Pick this book and series up now! Don't be afraid to also try to jump into the Demonica series as well!
