    I received this book as an ARC in exchange for giving an honest review! I enjoyed this book! It's been awhile since I read a book with some Greek Mythology in it so that was a throw back to simpler times for me. I will say that right around the middle it became a little bit obvious how things were going to play out but there was still some things that were unknown. I really want to know more about Athena and how she was able to fall in love and have a child. I'm hoping that there will be more of an explanation in the next book! After seeing the painting in the Claire's house, I'm ready to see where Mellie can go because right now she may not be strong but she's not weak. She doesn't know how to use her powers as of yet but oh when she does...she will be a force. It was very sad seeing what happened to her parents but watching her get to see who they were and how much they loved her was beautiful. As a mom myself I was able to relate to those moments so much it almost made me tear up a bit. 
    The spice in this book...well there wasn't really any. There was a lot of teasing but that's about it. Almost gave me YA vibes. Hoping that Mellie and Eric hopefully get together in the next book because the tension between them is so strong! So I'd give the spice a 1 out of 5. Overall, the story was still good and I would recommend it to anyone who is getting introduced to the romance genre as well as anyone who likes Greek Mythology! This book gets a 2.5 out of 5 for me.

   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. End of The Month Wrap Up- September '23

   We are here again with another End of the Month Wrap Up. It's crazy to say that I can't believe it again but we have burned through this month in a blink. I have gone on a trip and come back and here we are, at the end of the month once again!! I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to since I fell into a slump during the middle of the month. Still all of the books that I read were interesting in their own way. So let's see where all these books fell this month!       Favorite Character:   Avery- Avery from Wonder Light is my selection as favorite character of the month!! I loved that she decided to take some time for herself and do something crazy. Sometimes doing something different can be just what we need to shock our systems and can reset us. The Cliffiest of Cliff Hangers

    Whew,  I received this ARC for a honest review of this book. Let me just say that this was cruel and unusual punishment!! Like the title for this review says, the biggest cliff, in cliffhanger history ends this book.  The next page asks us to wait until next year for the next book.  I won't survive. I will spend the next week writing down theories of how this could continue.      The characters in this book are so memorable!! I love a snarky heroine and her dark hero. These two are actually a match made in... well hell? Darkness? I don't know but I can't wait to read more when the next book in this series drops. I definitely recommend this book!! The spice didn't come to the end but it was hot !! I give the spice 3 out of 5 simply because I wish there was more!! It was so good! Overall I'd rate this book 4 out of 5!! Great works building,  great characters, and plot. Everything is paced nicely and it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
