Hunt Me - ARC Review

Another great read!! Tori and Legion, had a lot to work through, what with her having a poison touch and him with his terrible past, it was going to be a tough road. Seeing them slowly break down the walls that they both had up with each made for a great read. The trials that they ended up having to deal with as time went on helped to give them a solid foundation. Though of course the past can never stay in the past and they have to fight for everything they've tentatively built. This was such nicely told story!! I loved meeting the characters, the world was beautifully built. I have not read the first book in this series but the author did an amazing job of not making you feel like you are missing pieces if you jump in with this book first. My only thing was Tori would be so blinded by emotions that she would make dumb decisions. It's her character flaw for sure. I can't say that I wouldn't react the same in some of those situations but not all of them. So she was a little irritating at times but for the most part I still liked her. That older sibling syndrome is in full affect for her. 

The spice was nice. There was a lot of build up and we really only got 1 scene. I was hoping for more but it was still pretty spicy leading up to that. I give it a 3 out of 5. Overall though I'm giving this a 4. The story was interesting I really liked the characters and I want to read the previous book and continue on with more. I really enjoyed my trip to Tartarus!! I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys dragons, tough FMCs and family drama!!

   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. There are so many things that are thrown in here that I'm like, GIVE ME MORE!! I have to know what's going on! The principle, what's his deal because I just feel like he's involved some how. End of The Month Wrap Up- September '23

   We are here again with another End of the Month Wrap Up. It's crazy to say that I can't believe it again but we have burned through this month in a blink. I have gone on a trip and come back and here we are, at the end of the month once again!! I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to since I fell into a slump during the middle of the month. Still all of the books that I read were interesting in their own way. So let's see where all these books fell this month!       Favorite Character:   Avery- Avery from Wonder Light is my selection as favorite character of the month!! I loved that she decided to take some time for herself and do something crazy. Sometimes doing something different can be just what we need to shock our systems and can reset us. Especially when we you go through something traumatic. I also loved her location choice! Most of the places that she went to in this book are places that I also visited. The Cliffiest of Cliff Hangers

    Whew,  I received this ARC for a honest review of this book. Let me just say that this was cruel and unusual punishment!! Like the title for this review says, the biggest cliff, in cliffhanger history ends this book.  The next page asks us to wait until next year for the next book.  I won't survive. I will spend the next week writing down theories of how this could continue.      The characters in this book are so memorable!! I love a snarky heroine and her dark hero. These two are actually a match made in... well hell? Darkness? I don't know but I can't wait to read more when the next book in this series drops. I definitely recommend this book!! The spice didn't come to the end but it was hot !! I give the spice 3 out of 5 simply because I wish there was more!! It was so good! Overall I'd rate this book 4 out of 5!! Great works building,  great characters, and plot. Everything is paced nicely and it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
