The King Has Returned

Peter Pan is back and better than ever! He finally has his shadow back and everything should be perfect in his world.... right? Except upon returning home he realizes things are anything but perfect. Winnie is not the same Winnie he left and old habits die hard. After spending so long hiding from the sun he can't help but stick to his old ways. Even though now it's not needed. After watching his Darling pass out after some fun with Vane, he realizes just what is different. Everything starts to get crazy after this revelation. The powers that be in his world are attempting to take advantage and a startling truth is about to be revealed. We finally meet the infamous Crocodile,  who has just about everyone quaking in their boots. With swagger to match his reputation Crocodile proves he's just as irresistible as his younger brother Vane.
I enjoyed this book a heck of a lot more than I enjoyed the second one.  The second one felt really slow compared to this one.  I devoured this book in a day. I give it a 3.9 out of 5. It would have been a 5 if it was a little longer.  I wanted Winnie to get some more time with the shadow.  More time to embrace her dark side. Instead she only had it for a bit and then things changed. The spice was spicing. One thing Winnie is going to do is get dicked down. It wasn't like hot hot but it was spicy. The spice was a 3 out of 5. I'd recommend this book and I'm excited to move into the last book in the series of Winnie and her Lost Boys.
