Who Will She Choose

    I didn't know who our FMC was going to choose for a awhile there but as the story progressed we definitely see who she's going for. Then plot twist!! Whew what a plot twist there at the end.  It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out in the second book.  We also find out what our FMC is. I decibel didn't expect it to happen in this book.  The one revelation was enough for me!! There is no spice in this book what do ever. But there is a lot of heart strings being pulled on. I didn't know how to feel by the end of this book.  I was angry,  I was happy and I was confused just like she was!! I can't wait to see what book 2 has in store for us!! I give this book a 3.5 out of 5. 
     Like I said earlier they l there was no spice in this one.  There is a lot of teasing but don't expect more than done heavy one way petting. I will say I was also a little confused by the end because there was a massive info dump. Like the revelation of who the killer is. The revelation of who our FMC really is. Then there is more going on within the revelation that was just... so much. I secondly had to take a second after I finished reading to absorb all that happened. I'm ready for the next book though. Clarity is definitely needed. It's a good read because I finished it on one day but it felt like....a filler read. I'd throw it out there if someone needed something as an in-between read.

   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. End of The Month Wrap Up- September '23

   We are here again with another End of the Month Wrap Up. It's crazy to say that I can't believe it again but we have burned through this month in a blink. I have gone on a trip and come back and here we are, at the end of the month once again!! I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to since I fell into a slump during the middle of the month. Still all of the books that I read were interesting in their own way. So let's see where all these books fell this month!       Favorite Character:   Avery- Avery from Wonder Light is my selection as favorite character of the month!! I loved that she decided to take some time for herself and do something crazy. Sometimes doing something different can be just what we need to shock our systems and can reset us. The Cliffiest of Cliff Hangers

    Whew,  I received this ARC for a honest review of this book. Let me just say that this was cruel and unusual punishment!! Like the title for this review says, the biggest cliff, in cliffhanger history ends this book.  The next page asks us to wait until next year for the next book.  I won't survive. I will spend the next week writing down theories of how this could continue.      The characters in this book are so memorable!! I love a snarky heroine and her dark hero. These two are actually a match made in... well hell? Darkness? I don't know but I can't wait to read more when the next book in this series drops. I definitely recommend this book!! The spice didn't come to the end but it was hot !! I give the spice 3 out of 5 simply because I wish there was more!! It was so good! Overall I'd rate this book 4 out of 5!! Great works building,  great characters, and plot. Everything is paced nicely and it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
