This book was so good!! I love a great morally dark FMC!! It's rare to come across a FMC who can hang with the guys when it comes to the dark stuff so this was nice to read!! What makes it even better was she was that way BEFORE she met the FMC. The last one I remember who had me cheering for her was the FMC in the Mindf*ck series!! The men looked up to Catrina and respected her despite this being a mafia book and that not being the typical thing in their world. Catrina is smart, strong and beautiful and used all of that to her advantage while on her rampage. I was here for it!! Until she came across Massimo. Then everything changed and it was for the better in the long run. It wasn't easy getting there but once they did the Romance was beautiful. They both deserved the ending because they went through so much! I'd love to get a story on more of the characters in this world! Like I've said before, I love stories that immerse you in what is happening and that is exactly how I felt with this story.  The family tree at the beginning kinda freaked me out but once I started reading and got to know the characters it all started making sense. I'm secondly going to go back and read some of the precious characters books!! 
    The spice in this book was HOT. I loved Catrina and Massimo's chemistry with each other.  They were both strong and stubborn in the beginning and of course that just makes things all the more spicier later 🥵🥵. If give this book a 5 out 5 for spice.  It wasn't overwhelming at all.  It was perfect. Overall I give this book a 4 out of 5. I really enjoyed it and am adding all this authors stuff to my TBR because of it! I definitely recommend this book!!

   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. End of The Month Wrap Up- September '23

   We are here again with another End of the Month Wrap Up. It's crazy to say that I can't believe it again but we have burned through this month in a blink. I have gone on a trip and come back and here we are, at the end of the month once again!! I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to since I fell into a slump during the middle of the month. Still all of the books that I read were interesting in their own way. So let's see where all these books fell this month!       Favorite Character:   Avery- Avery from Wonder Light is my selection as favorite character of the month!! I loved that she decided to take some time for herself and do something crazy. Sometimes doing something different can be just what we need to shock our systems and can reset us. The Cliffiest of Cliff Hangers

    Whew,  I received this ARC for a honest review of this book. Let me just say that this was cruel and unusual punishment!! Like the title for this review says, the biggest cliff, in cliffhanger history ends this book.  The next page asks us to wait until next year for the next book.  I won't survive. I will spend the next week writing down theories of how this could continue.      The characters in this book are so memorable!! I love a snarky heroine and her dark hero. These two are actually a match made in... well hell? Darkness? I don't know but I can't wait to read more when the next book in this series drops. I definitely recommend this book!! The spice didn't come to the end but it was hot !! I give the spice 3 out of 5 simply because I wish there was more!! It was so good! Overall I'd rate this book 4 out of 5!! Great works building,  great characters, and plot. Everything is paced nicely and it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
