Emotional Rollercoaster!!

  I really couldn't wait for this book to drop!! I really loved the first book and I couldn't wait to get into this one!! It did not disappoint!! Seeing Rose have to go through so much to try to get Valtu back was a little daunting and scary at times but after she managed to find him and he realized how good they were together,  I know it was a wrap. Throwing in the obstacle of him not remembering her and him being a different person than what we remembered... made for a interesting story!!  There was a lot of returning characters from previous books as well as from the first book. I wish we saw more of Bitrus but I'll take what I can get. 
   There were a few things that I wished were fleshed out a bit more which kept this from getting the full 5 stars. I do wish that some things happened much sooner so because the issue of Leif to me would be something that could take up more time near the end.  Unless she has another book for us *eyes Karina*. I'd  love to get one from all the misc. characters we've met in both of these books in the Duet.  The spice was flaming.  Ok burn your eyes balls type flaming.  I loved it.  Full 5 stars for the spice. She held nothing back here.  Overall I give this book a 4!! I'd definitely recommend this series and this author to anyone who loves spice and a great love story.

   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. There are so many things that are thrown in here that I'm like, GIVE ME MORE!! I have to know what's going on! The principle, what's his deal because I just feel like he's involved some how. End of The Month Wrap Up- September '23

   We are here again with another End of the Month Wrap Up. It's crazy to say that I can't believe it again but we have burned through this month in a blink. I have gone on a trip and come back and here we are, at the end of the month once again!! I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to since I fell into a slump during the middle of the month. Still all of the books that I read were interesting in their own way. So let's see where all these books fell this month!       Favorite Character:   Avery- Avery from Wonder Light is my selection as favorite character of the month!! I loved that she decided to take some time for herself and do something crazy. Sometimes doing something different can be just what we need to shock our systems and can reset us. The Cliffiest of Cliff Hangers

    Whew,  I received this ARC for a honest review of this book. Let me just say that this was cruel and unusual punishment!! Like the title for this review says, the biggest cliff, in cliffhanger history ends this book.  The next page asks us to wait until next year for the next book.  I won't survive. I will spend the next week writing down theories of how this could continue.      The characters in this book are so memorable!! I love a snarky heroine and her dark hero. These two are actually a match made in... well hell? Darkness? I don't know but I can't wait to read more when the next book in this series drops. I definitely recommend this book!! The spice didn't come to the end but it was hot !! I give the spice 3 out of 5 simply because I wish there was more!! It was so good! Overall I'd rate this book 4 out of 5!! Great works building,  great characters, and plot. Everything is paced nicely and it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
