Bespelled - Review

This was another great entry in this series!! I loved everything about it, even though we had to go through some rough times to get to that ending, it was pretty fantastic! I enjoyed watching Memnon try to get back to Selene. I loved watching her fight to keep him at arms length and then eventually give into him. I however did not enjoy how often he was playing the baywatch king. He was never really there when she needed him to be and had to constantly be "on his way" . Is there not a teleportation spell? I mean, he's an all powerful sorcerer and he can't get to her quicker than he is. I mean, I guess we had to find a way for Selene to fight these battles on her own but LORD. The frustration was very high. Other than that I don't really have any complaints about anything that happened in this book. It was very enjoyable all the way around. Though the ending was a little...annoying. I don't want to spoil what happens but seriously? This is what ya'll chose to be upset about? It's literally like you can't win for losing. I don't really see what happened at the end as something that was so terrible that everyone was like wtf. I mean one of the characters even explained what happened in a way that made sense...so....I don't see the problem. The family was definitely up to no good. Though I guess, if they weren't doing this before the events of the story then it would indeed be kinda sus. If that's not the case then, continue on my friend.

The spice in this story was off the charts once everything kicked off. I mean wow. Loved it. Selene really kept us from this greatness. I give this a 5 out of 5. It was worth the wait. Overall I give this book a 4 out 5, since the author decided to cause me stress. I would definitely recommend this series to EVERYONE! It has magic, witches, sorcerers, shifters, hedonistic tendencies...I mean, what more could you ask for? I can't wait to read more in this series!! Hats off to the author!
