Own Me - Review
I almost feel like we're at the end of an era. Reading this series has brought me so much enjoyment. I have been entertained, cried, laughed and loved with this couple and it will always be a book that is high on my series recommendations list. The spice is perfect and the story is any woman's fairytale. I'm glad that this will not be the final good byes to all the characters in this series! I re-read this at the perfect time since Ronan is getting his own story in Release Me. But that's excitement for another post, let's talk about this book. We find Henry and Abbi at a happy time in their lives...well what should be a happy time in their lives. Of course the world always has different ideas. So things start taking a weird turn when a random man calls Abbi and starts asking questions that they definitely don't want out there. On top of that, they return home to find a girl there who has an weird resemblance to someone that they know. I feel like I forgot about this part in the book but it was such an emotional rollercoaster! From happiness, to sadness and back again. This book definitely will have you feeling all the things. Things are progressing with Abbi's soap business and of course there is never a short of craziness that Margo brings. I loved this world, the characters in it and how it unfolded. I don't think I can recommend this book and series more. The only complaint I have other than the fact that I didn't want things to end, is I wanted a little bit more at the end. A nice little epilogue either a few year later or even a few months later after the wedding would have been perfection!
I don't think I even need to say that when it comes to spice, these two do not leave you wanting. The decadence of every spicy scene they have together is just unmatched. The chemistry, the uninhibited way that they both give to each other. OUTSTANDING. 5 out of 5 for the spice. Overall, I love this book. It was the near perfect ending to this series! I loved all the new people that we meet, the affirmation of relationships that we get and of course the gorgeous wedding (even though we didn't really get to see it). Everything came full circle and it was so beautiful to see. I will always recommend this series. It is spicy, heart warming and just plain exciting to read. This is definitely going to stay in my re-read rotation!
