Jumped back into the Alliance series with book 3, Dom. He definitely did not disappoint. He was possessive, crazy and obsessed with Val and I loved that for her. She is another thick Queen who found her man. Even though things were set up from the beginning, we see them thrive in their relationship. I did kinda want Val to be a little more assertive but I still liked her character. She was able to be fiesta yet vulnerable. Even though she had a lot of bad things happen to her in her life she still was able to be a good person. I wanted a little more kingpin moves from Dom but I see he was a little. Busy and we did get to see some of his domineering side when push came to shove. I always enjoy it when we get to see characters from the previous book in the current book and we get that here. King, Savannah and Nero and Payton all make appearances in this book! We also get a peak at the last guy in our alliance series, Hans!
This book was definitely spicy. The scenes were short and to the point. I liked them. 4 out of 5 stars. Overall I'd give this a 4 out 5 on my scale. It definitely reminded me why I liked this series. Even though Val is quite the crier and Dom is crazy and just like his name implies. They were a good couple who needed each other. I would recommend this to anyone who likes contemporary mafia/crime romance with an overly possessive MMC.
