Eternal Reign - Review

There is so much I could say about this book. The frustration that I felt while reading it.  The fact that I initially said that I DNF'd it but actually continued to listen to it... crazy work.  I liked the premise that the book had and that's what kept me hooked. One of the FMC's though... put me through the ringer. Montana.... girl, please get your life together. My level of annoyance with her was extreme. The fact that she didn't really seem to think through her actions, made me almost have a stroke. Callie, was ok for the most part... until close to the end, then she decided to have her bout with stupidity. That is my main issue with these characters. The MMCs were fine. The idea of the world was interesting and pretty cool.

There was no spice in the book. It definitely makes sense for what was going on. So 0 on the spice scale. Overall, I'll give this a 3 out of 5. I want to see how this resolves itself. I hope that the characters get better with their logic and how they move. The internal monologue that was going on was nearly a mood killer. I did manage to stick through it. If you are already someone who likes these authors writing then you should like this book. It is definitely very slow though. I wouldn't recommend this to start with if you are just getting into their writing.
