A Game of Retribution - Review
I really love that the author made the Hades Saga because it is so good! I love that we are getting to see the inner workings of things through the eyes of Hades who is also experiencing them with Persephone. I like getting to read these after reading things from Persephone's POV since there is a little bit more plot movement on his side. From her we watch her growth from seeing herself as a regular person to being the goddess that she is meant to be. When we read his POV, we see the world as a whole and how both of their interactions are affecting the world. It's just an amazing series all together. I really well done. Both of them are learning how to be in a relationship with each other and I love it. One thing I really liked was getting to see how the situation with Lexa affected Hades. He has such a vast knowledge and seeing death from his POV is so different. I liked that he got to share that with Persephone. Though it looks like we are in for a whole new world once things kick off in the next book.
The spice in this book was really good!! Solid 4 out of 5 on the spice. These two can't keep their hands off each other and I love that for them. I can't wait to see how things go in the next book. Overall I gave this book a 4 out of 5. I really like getting this POV. I love getting to see another side to all the characters that we just get glimpses of when we see them through Persephone's eyes. From the bloodthirsty-ness of Hecate to the hilarity that is the relationship between Hades and Hermes. I definitely would recommend this series to anyone who likes spicy retellings!
