End of the Month Wrap Up- March 26

This was another good month of reads! I was able to get some ARCs in this month and had started some amazing series. Unfortunately that has meant that my re-read of books has come almost to a screeching halt. I have tried to listen to as many of my re-reads as possible but with a few of them not having audio books yet, they have kind of slipped to the way side. I do intend to go back to some of them this month however. I just have to decide which ones that I would like to revisit. As for the books that I read this month, there are some authors that I am definitely adding to my must read list and I plan on starting on their backlog as soon as I can! With that being said, let's jump into it! This month I was able to read 15 amazing books! Let's recap them and then jump into the superlatives!

Favorite Character - Ondine : I enjoyed getting to know Ondine and watching her come into her own. She wasn't someone who even fully accepted herself but due to her having people who spoke life and positivity into her, she was able to realize that she deserved more. It helped her to speak up for herself and stand in her truth. I really admired that. HONORABLE MENTION goes to Roxilana, the bad ass Sarmation queen that she is! She was another one who had someone speak that positivity into her and believe in her which allowed her to be the best version of herself that she could. Not to mention she was freaking not someone to play with! Another Honorable Mention is Aspen, from The Wolf King's Mate.

Spiciest Book - Rowe : I love when things get primal and with this series being named that. It's exactly what we got! It was hot, plentiful and written amazingly well. HONORABLE MENTIONS go to Madness of the Horde King and The Curse That Binds!! I loved Madness because it also showed the healing power that is in the spice that we got from the characters as well. It was also plentiful and hot! In the Curse That Binds, they were each others first and from there things just escalated and got better. I also love these characters so learning their beginnings and the hardship they dealt with was a plus.

Best Cover - King of Depravity : Now, this might be a little confusing BUT the reason I selected this one is because the cover that I saw when I downloaded this book is not the same one that I have for my reviews and for this wrap up. I had the model cover and it was what drew me into this book. I couldn't find it to download however so I just went with the discreet cover for this. I will try to have the actual model cover when I show this on the visual wrap up!

Top Baddie - The Curse That Binds : So there is something to be said about a baddie that chases you through time. I mean this chick has been essentially haunting Memnons line and then she wanted Memnon herself. I think she has been leading the men to get more power and to be that merciless being that she wants them to be. Them getting attached to women is not something that she wants. So when Selene does this with Memnon, the baddie can't have that. I keep calling her baddie because I don't know how to spell her name since I listened to this and didn't read it. But even hundreds of years later, this woman is still at it. HONORABLE MENTIONS Vamps & Vendettas and Dawn of the Cursed Queen. In V&V we get multiple baddies who have been using our FMC and the MMC for decades and keeping them apart. Hated them and they got their just deserts. In Dawn of the Cursed Queen, we have the most evilest of sister in laws out here trying to subjugate the many realms and.....she's just evil and I can't wait to see the conclusion where she hopefully gets what she deserves as well!

Best Narration - The Wolf King's Mate : Don't mind me while I melt into an absolute puddle! Both of the narrators in this book did such a good job! I wanted a little more of Enzo but the female voice actor did amazing with the male vc as well! HONORABLE MENTION goes to King of Depravity!

Best Storyline - Dawn of the Cursed Queen : Wow, there was so much happening in this book but the way that it was done allowed us to still follow everything that was going on. Even though we were getting the POV of so many characters it was still easy to follow and it was obvious that every little piece of the puzzle was coming together when we watched events through their eyes. HONORABLE MENTIONS go to The Curse That Binds and King of Depravity. Even though we knew the end portion of what was going to happen in The Curse That Binds, the way we got there was beautifully done. King of Depravity felt like the author really let the characters take the lead and I really enjoyed that.

Author of the Month - Shasta De Leon : I absolutely devoured Ondine Vol 1 and Vol2 and I can't wait to read the novella and to start in on Mads Vol 1 and Vol 2. I love the universe that the author created and I just can't wait to get more of these characters, the world and everything else that there is to offer in Cash City!

Book of the Month - The Curse That Binds : This was so hard to pick from. There were so many good books this month! I gave it to this one because we KNEW what was going to happen but getting there was the best part. Even though it was filled with heartache and pain, the journey was worth it. I rarely enjoy prequels that much but since this one was a full length novel, I knew that Laura Thalassa had given us a real treat and she definitely did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone. I think you'd be hard pressed to not enjoy this book and the series.
