Cheeky King - Review
I finally decided to finish Penny and Sebastians story. It was a good story and getting to see Sebastian be vunerable while dealing with the death of his father was good. It's not usual that you see a MMC be vulnerable. However, that's the only praise I have for him. He was childish for most of the other things dealing with Penny. He definitely did not grovel enough for me after the stuff that he put her through. I would have been perfectly fine if this book was a little longer just to see him earn Penny back. She gave in a little too quickly for me. Though I was glad to see that they got married and he made a way for them to be together. The whole controversy behind what happened with the former King, the cousin and everything was very interesting. I am looking forward to the next book in this series! I was able to get the deluxe edition that has both book 1 and book 2 along with the art work. And man is that thing spicy! The art is hot!
The spice was there in this book. Even though at times it was not during the best of circumstances, it was still hot! I gave it a 3 out of 5. Overall, I liked the story, even though Sebastian deserved to do some more begging before Penny gave in. I liked the world and the characters and I look forward to reading Lucas's story. I would recommend this book to contemporary romance lovers who enjoy a little bit of Royalty and uncover mess in their books!
