God of Wrath - Review
This book definitely brought me back into this series! I enjoyed the dynamic between Cecily and Jeremy. They definitely seemed like they were very well matched here! You could feel their chemistry. I love it when you can actually tell that the characters really seem to belong together. Another thing that I have really, really liked about this series is how it is truly interconnected. Like things are happening simultaneously within the series. So we get to see events that we watched happen in other series through the eyes of these characters now that they are telling their story. I wish that more interconnected series were like these. For the most part other interconnected series are just that they are in the same world with characters that we've already met. So, we see the party, the initiation of the Heathens and everything through the eyes of Cecily and Jeremy. The only part that I wish that we got to see through them was the events that surrounded Creighton and Annika in the previous book. I think that being there with them while they went through the emotions of seeing what Creighton went through in this book, it would have really endeared this series to me like how some others are. I still don't think anything can touch the just amazing chemistry and just great story telling that happened in God of Malice with Glyndon and Killian....yet. This book still makes me want to read up on their parents to see how they ended up together.
The spice in this book was hot and definitely made me love this couple more. I gave this a 4 out of 5 on the spice scale. The chemistry was just great between these two. Overall, I give this book a 4 out of 5. I definitely burned through reading this book! I have now added this series to my collection in its entirety. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who is looking for something on the dark side with group dynamics. By group dynamics, I don't mean on the spice side either. I mean these guys are very close with each other and they all are very involved in each others lives. I really like that about this series because it just makes things seem deeper.
