A Game of Fate - Review
This book was sooo much better than I thought it was going to be. To be able to get the other side of the coin in their story has been amazing!! I really loved the details and the side things that were going on in this one. You learn so much from seeing things from Hades perspective!! I think that I am going to continue to go side to side with this series. Reading from Persephone's side and then swapping over to Hades side. This novel helped add some depth to the story that I didn't even know I was missing when I read A Touch of Darkness. Though I can already tell that this series is definitely going to be one of my favorites! I enjoyed getting to see how Hades saw the events but also a different side to some of the characters that we barely touched on when we were in Persephone's POV. I loved Hecate in her book but I fell that much more for the goddess when I was reading this book! We also see more of the other characters like Hermes and Hephaestus even Aphrodite! It just opened up so much more in this world and I can't wait to see how much more we learn about these characters in both of their stories!!
The spice in this book was good. It was just as good seeing things from Hades POV as it was with Persephone's. I give the spice a 4 out of 5. It was the exact same moments just with different feeling and I really enjoyed that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this series. I think that starting it the way I have, gives you that much more enjoyment and appreciation of the story. I give this book a 5 out of 5. I definitely liked it more than I liked A Touch of Darkness. Not by much but enough.
