End of the Month Wrap Up - April/May 25

 So this month I am going to lump April and May together since April didn't really have a lot to choose from. I will denote one from the other when I remember. Thanks so much for being here with me through the rough patches and enabling me to continue doing what I love! So with that being said, I am finally feeling more like myself and I'm burning through these pages! I can't wait to share how these last few months and the reads that came with them have gone. Let's see how the books I read these last 2 months stack up! I going to start with the April reads and then move into the May reads!






























Favorite Character: Isa (Until Death Do Us Part)- Isa really shined in this book. She had a lot going on, with being pregnant and then mourning some important people in her life. I really loved how she finally was embracing her life for what it was and was able to not back down. Then when push came to shove she was able to depend on not only her man but also on herself! GROWTH! This was a May read.

Prettiest/Best Cover: Rhapsodic- I really love this cover. This is the OG cover for this book. It has this silent yet majestic feel to it. It definitely had some stiff competition with Our Bloodline and Surrender to Me but I have to give it to Des and those wings! This was a May read!

Top Baddie: Thief of Souls (Rhapsodic)- This guy is diabolical! Sending women back with babies who he pretty much force on them. They are also pretty much possessed weird kids once they wake up and interact with others. Like then he sends them back to their kingdoms in caskets....like sir. All because they fear the King of the Night...AKA Des. At least that's what we are made to believe at this point. Definitely can't wait to re-read more of this series! This was a May read!

Best Voice Actors: Wolf Hotel Series- I just went ahead and gave this to the entire series. For both April and May I gave this to one of the books in this series. I really enjoyed the voice actors that were chosen for the parts in this series. Even though the FMC sounded a little different in the last book. This was a April and May read!

Best Storyline: Surrender to Me- I think this was such a perfect encapsulation of everything for this series. We see Henry finally proposing to Abbi, as well as finally getting to see how things worked out with Ronan and everyone back at Wolf Cove. It was just truly perfect. The last book was also pretty close but with all the other reveals in that book, I think that it took away from the story of these two. This was an April read!

Spiciest Book: Own Me- This whole series was spicy!! The last few books turned up the heat and Own Me took the cake with the Masquerade party and then with the trips that they went on! Definitely was scorching the pages and I love so much that they were able to do all this with each other. Great communications and even better times were had! This was a May read!

Author of the Month: KA Tucker & Adelaide Forrest- This has felt like the year of KA Tucker for me! I have reread the Wolf Hotel series and also started her Fate and Flame series! I have enjoyed everything she has had to offer so far and I can't wait for more! Especially with Ronan getting a book! She was my AOM for April and Adelaide Forrest is the author for May. I mean, after not reading the previous book in this series in at least a year, her writing was so good and memorable that I was able to recall just about everything from the previous books without having to grab a synopsis from my reviews. That's what I look for a great book and author!

Book of the Month: Wolf Hotel Series- Again for both months, I selected a book from this series. I really was sad to leave this world and these characters behind. I enjoyed every bit of the story for Henry and Abbi. It is definitely a story about growth and not being ashamed to like what you like. It was so enjoyable that I could easily recommend this series to just about any and everyone!

 The next series that I decided to take on in my re-read sessions was the Wolf Hotel series by KA Tucker. This series was one that I devoured when I originally read it so I wanted to see if it still hit the same as then! This first book definitely has taken advantage of the naive virgin trope and really let it go full tilt. We meet Abbi as she is going through one of the worst moments in her life. She just found out that her fiancé cheated on her. Of course she comes from a super religious background meaning that they feel like it's ok for the man to do this while she must remain chaste. I mean all the things that young adults get into are things that she was forbidden to do, whether it was drinking, partying or wearing and talking about certain things. Our girl is oblivious. Reflected In You - Review

  Wow. I almost don't know how to feel after reading this book. I mean Gideon and Ava are definitely running me through the emotional ringer with this one. I mean they are constantly on a roller coaster themselves! One day they are madly happy then the next day they are close to hating each other. Most of it honestly, is communication. They both have bad communication skills honestly. They feed each others hurt. Yet they are great when they are great. I mean there is a scene in this book where it's almost picture perfection. Then we get instances when one lashes out subconsciously at the other. The issue stemming from the fact that one is very close lipped about something. Which by the end of the book, it makes sense....my LORD, was I stressed while reading this. The amount of times that I stopped and just yelled at one of the other about what the heck they had going on. Like my goodness! I almost don't even know how we got to where we did by the end. The whiplash was real....

Binder - ARC Review

Yall, I try not to be long winded when I do my reviews because I don't want to spoil you. Also I try to be a raving looney toon as well but this series is going to probably have the longest reviews I've written. When I say that I am head over heels for these characters, this world, the story. I truly am. Once again we are back in this world meeting so many new faces and some returning! I was so happy to see that Rogan was back! I knew it would throw an interesting wrench between Kara and Flynn and boy did it!! Rogan was just someone who was there briefly in the Prequel Breeder, but he was important to Kara. The fact that he disappeared after what happened in the prequel was investing to me and he always lingered in the back of my mind but never,  did I expect his return to be what it was!!
