Natural Born Killers - Review

We have finally reached the end of the road for Dean and Avalon's story! I was so excited to finally get all the details behind who Avalon's parents are. In this book we finally get some resolution to a lot of the questions that were unanswered in the first book. Some of these I already guessed while the others were not anything that I thought was going to happen. So without spoilers lets get into it. Avalon gets a lot of resolution in this book. From confronting her mother about the information that they'd managed to gather, to getting back at the people who she found out orchestrated a lot of the problems for her. I loved getting to see her get revenge. With that being said, this book is definitely a lot more bloody and a lot more unhinged than the previous books were. It kinda had to be for the things that we had to get through with these characters. As for Dean, he was able to show us and Avalon that he's standing ten toes down for her. I mean, we kinda did know that, but there was still a lot of obstacles that had to be crossed that I wasn't one thousand percent sure that he was gonna be locked in for. He proved me wrong in the best way! Then we get to the other guys. We get more backstory for the other guys as well here. Not enough that they couldn't get there own book, (which I think they do) but enough that we are able to understand them a little bit more. There was also some breadcrumbs that were dropped in the previous book that I managed to figure out before it was clearly stated here in this book. Enough that when it was brought up, I was kinda surprised that no one else got there before me in the books. Then there was the fact that once again Avalon had to do something on her own, as we've learned from the previous two books, that's not a good idea. I mean without fail, homegirl gets kidnapped EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I need her to work on that. Though now that things are resolved hopefully that won't be an issue anymore.

The spice in this book was good! I really appreciated the scenes in this book, I think more than the others. There was a lot more going on for everyone emotionally here so it was great to see them get the opportunity to reconnect. Definitely a 4 out of 5 for me on the spice. Overall, I liked this book but I did feel a little let down by the end. I can't really explain why...maybe it's because, NO ONE could see this coming? I mean for a computer genius and some smart guys and a chick on a scholarship, they made some pretty dumb choices. Not to mention no one seemed to be able to put 2 and 2 together and get 4. They got the square root of x or something. I don't know. Then Dean not tying Avalon to his back so she would stop getting snatched was a lot. A las she is stubborn and he is in love. I do still look forward to reading more about the guys in the rest of this series! I would recommend this series for a the ladies who love their dark romances, because these guys get pretty dark. Found family and all the goodies make an appearance in this series~!
