Vicious Secret - Review
This book was interesting from the beginning to the end. I definitely felt like Delilah was a little silly once she was able to get to the school. There was many a times that I was like girlllll, what the heck are you doing? What about this seems smart? I do find it interesting that she went along with some of the things that the other girls did, especially once they said that they knew that their parents would be able to bail them out. They had no fear of the consequences. As someone who was there on a scholarship that could easily be revoked...I think the last thing that I would be doing would be committing a crime as bad as the one they decided to commit. Not to mention, she got upset about someone cheating off her test but not literal breaking and entering. Especially when it was over a guy who she hadn't even really spoken to up til that point. I was giving her a very much bombastic side eye. Ben...big sigh. The whole situation with Ben was very annoying. It's definitely going to be fun seeing how things play out in book 2.
The spice in this book was ok. Considering that it only kicked in, in the second half of the book really. I liked the little that we did get. I hope we get some more in book 2! I'd give the spice a 3 out of 5. Overall, I enjoyed this book and really burned through it. It's definitely going to be interesting seeing how things resolve in this next book. Not only for Xavier and Delilah but I'm also invested in what happens with June and Declan. Overall, I gave this book a 4 out of 5 for sure! Would definitely recommend to anyone who isn't bothered by dark romance!
