God of Fury - Review
This was a good entry in this series! This was the first one that I listened to instead of actually reading and I really enjoyed the narrators! It made me enjoy Nikolai that much more. I actually wanna go back and listen to the others now. I liked how this one basically took us all the way back to the beginning of the series and then all the way to this couples end. This one was of course a little dark and you should def check the trigger warnings before you start this one, heck the whole series! Bran and Nikolai are two characters that have been very prominent in a lot of the other characters stories so finally getting a chance to see these two fall for each other has been a treat. I didn't know how I would feel about it being that it is straight MM and I haven't really read those before but I really felt for Bran and what he went through. He really had to reconcile himself with something that he didn't think fit him at first and was really fighting it. I appreciated that and I know there were probably a lot of other readers who did as well. Not to mention being ace was mentioned. I think that's something that has not really been explored in a lot of romance books and it was very eye opening.
The spice in this book was definitely different for me but that didn't make it any less good. I would give the spice a 4 out of 5. There was a lot of it and they were everywhere! Overall, I enjoyed this book and I'm sad that I'm getting to the end of this series. However, I am excited about starting the parents series! I missed out on getting to read them since I found this author late. This was a good read and I would recommend it to anyone who has already started this series or who is interested in starting this series! Dark romance lovers, MM readers and of course contemporary romance queens, jump on this!!
