This was a good entry in this series!! I was hooked even though I had already read this. Poppy and Cas are finally coming into their own. Though they have a bunch of obstacles to over come. There are still creatures attempting to kill Poppy in Atlantia. They still have to deal with the Blood Crown. The truths that get revealed when they go to meet with the Blood Crown are staggering in all forms. Finding out Poppys' true lineage and the real reason the Blood Queen wants Atlantia!! Uh just so good. The last line that Poppy delivers, perfection!! I can't wait to jump into the Flesh and Fire series to get in deep with these characters again.
This book was ok with the spice, I almost wish it was a little more descriptive but I did like what we got. I have the spice a 3 out of 5. Overall I really enjoyed this book and Poppy talking that talk at the end had me hyped all over again!! I can't wait to read more of this series until it's no longer a re-read!! Catching up and having true open mouth gasping moments!! If you haven't started this series yet then I definitely think you should. Romantasy lovers will enjoy this book!!
