The Finisher - Review

This book was interesting. We get the vibrant and colorful Zephyr who is trying to get back with the boy that she loves in Alpha. Unfortunately he doesn't remember her. Usually it's the other way around but this time she was out to help him remember her in any way she can. While she's making this happen we get to meet so many new faces in this world. I will say the person who ended up being the betrayer was not the person who I thought it was going to be. I hope we get more information on what their deal is and why they ended up doing what they were doing. We get to see the brothers get closer to each and I loved that for them. Not letting their beast of a father come between them. Did I mention how much I love interconnected stories? If I haven't then moments like the one we get in this book is exactly why. All of the couples are reunited and we get to see how the interact with each other. It was a great moment. Of course now things are going to progress even further with all of them together since things are starting to come to a head with the Syndicate. I'm ready for everything to begin unraveling and I can't wait to read the next book!

The spice in this book was nice. Though I would preferred to have gotten more with the couple once they were actually dedicated to each other. Some of the views that we did get was good. I give the spice a 3 out of 5. Overall I really enjoyed this book. Though there were some holes that I wanted more info on and maybe that'll be later or maybe it didn't really matter. Like the fact that there was this inheritance that Zephyr couldn't get until she was 29 and married. Like what even was the items? Did they matter at all? Then of course I want to know more about the reveal that we get a certain family member of hers. Like that can't be it. I was very sad about that outcome as well. I'm thinking that most of this is going to get wrapped up in the next book. Also Adrik? Can I get more on this guy? Is he going to appear more in the next books? I'm curious!! I would however recommend this to others who have enjoyed the series up til now or who enjoys dark romance. This one isn't too dark but it definitely has some elements.
