Mine to Hunt - ARC Review
The ending of this series almost makes me sad. I have really loved these characters and this world but like all good things it has come to an end. Tristan and Kiera were some of the characters we knew the least about. They felt like the mysterious ones in the "friend" group who we knew had something but weren't 100% on what. Now we know. Now we get to see the darkness that they both inhabited and got to choose to love them or hate them. Kiera is really going through it in this book. In a way that you wouldn't believe after getting to meet her character in the previous book. Tristan, who was almost a shadow in the previous books really shows us what he is made of in this one. Not to mention we were able to see some of our faves from the previous books in this series. Anytime the other characters we've met get to pop in and remind of how awesome they were I love it! We definitely get that here. The ending of this book felt so nostalgic, the gang was all together and everyone was just doing normal married/in relationship friends do. I really enjoyed that. They may be dark and have the capabilities to do things that the people around could only fathom but they are still normal is a funny way.
The spice in this book was good. I was happy when we see that the trauma that Kiera has had to endure has not spoiled her for a relationship. It could have definitely easily happened. 3 out of 5 on the spice scale. Overall, I liked this book and pretty much devoured it whole. I didn't want to finish it but I was happy that I did. These characters are the type that will stick with you. They have a story of enduring love that only happens once in a lifetime. The type that would recognize the other no matter the form that it took. I would definitely recommend this book to any dark romance girlie because out boy Tristan is definitely stabby and Kiera will be right by his side telling him where to poke. So long to this series and I can't wait for more from this author!
