Expect the Unexpected

   This book was so good but it was predictable. From the moment that we discover that the two characters have the same marks the ending is predictable. Mind you how they got there was the interesting part. I enjoyed the journey even though I knew how things was going to end by the time this book ended. I'm interested in seeing how things progress from here. I have my predictions but since this isn't a spoiler review,  I won't say anything. I liked that Estrella wanted more for herself than what was dictated to her but the fact that it was constantly a point of contention was a little annoying. I almost wish they had more petty things to argue about than whether he saw her as his equal or not. I do want more info on some things that happened but I feel like we're going to get that in the next book. 
    The spice in this book had so much potential!! I think my idea of how things should be tainted my view of how they happened. I expected a super hot scene between our main characters but we got a Luke warm scene instead. I wanted it to be "blood and Ash" type spicy but it was more ACOTAR book 1 spicy. Minus the FTB. I'd give it a 2 out of 5 for me. Overall though the book was really good and is recommend it to others so I have it a 4 out of 5!! Check it out!!

   I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. There are so many things that are thrown in here that I'm like, GIVE ME MORE!! I have to know what's going on! The principle, what's his deal because I just feel like he's involved some how. End of The Month Wrap Up- September '23

   We are here again with another End of the Month Wrap Up. It's crazy to say that I can't believe it again but we have burned through this month in a blink. I have gone on a trip and come back and here we are, at the end of the month once again!! I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to since I fell into a slump during the middle of the month. Still all of the books that I read were interesting in their own way. So let's see where all these books fell this month!       Favorite Character:   Avery- Avery from Wonder Light is my selection as favorite character of the month!! I loved that she decided to take some time for herself and do something crazy. Sometimes doing something different can be just what we need to shock our systems and can reset us. The Cliffiest of Cliff Hangers

    Whew,  I received this ARC for a honest review of this book. Let me just say that this was cruel and unusual punishment!! Like the title for this review says, the biggest cliff, in cliffhanger history ends this book.  The next page asks us to wait until next year for the next book.  I won't survive. I will spend the next week writing down theories of how this could continue.      The characters in this book are so memorable!! I love a snarky heroine and her dark hero. These two are actually a match made in... well hell? Darkness? I don't know but I can't wait to read more when the next book in this series drops. I definitely recommend this book!! The spice didn't come to the end but it was hot !! I give the spice 3 out of 5 simply because I wish there was more!! It was so good! Overall I'd rate this book 4 out of 5!! Great works building,  great characters, and plot. Everything is paced nicely and it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
