Bewitched - Review

I can't believe I waited this long to indulge in this world!! I was thinking this was going to be more YA for some reason. Oh no...this is no where near that!! I really enjoyed Memnon and Selene. I loved their interaction with each other and how quirky Selene is. Of course I also loved how crazily obsessed Memnon is with Selene. I can't wait for them to get together even though Memnon is a tad on the crazy side. He's entirely part of the touch her and die gang. Like literally, he'd annihilate everyone. This should definitely be interesting to see why things are the way the are in the next book!! I have no negatives for this book. 
    The spice is giving slow burn. I am ready to explode. I have to give it a 3 because there was literally nothing between the characters but you feel it. You just know it's going to be amazing once it happens and man.....I can't wait. I give this book a 5 overall! I really loved it. The way the magic system is and the mystery around what's happened with Memnon and who is attempting to kill Selene. Love it. All of it. I can't wait to start book 2!! Laura Thalassa just hits it out the park for me everytime! Definitely recommend this to anyone who loved their men dark, their FMCs funny and relatable and their slow burns!

Yall, I try not to be long winded when I do my reviews because I don't want to spoil you. Also I try to be a raving looney toon as well but this series is going to probably have the longest reviews I've written. When I say that I am head over heels for these characters, this world, the story. I truly am. Once again we are back in this world meeting so many new faces and some returning! I was so happy to see that Rogan was back! I knew it would throw an interesting wrench between Kara and Flynn and boy did it!! Rogan was just someone who was there briefly in the Prequel Breeder, but he was important to Kara. The fact that he disappeared after what happened in the prequel was investing to me and he always lingered in the back of my mind but never,  did I expect his return to be what it was!! End of the Month Wrap Up - February 25

  Another month in the books for 2025!! I wish that I was able to read more books by black authors this month. Unfortunately, I was reading a lot of ARCs this month and getting into March as well. I definitely am going to try to slow down after this batch that I've read so I can dive into some diverse reads. I already have the screen shots of the books I want to read on hand. Hopefully you had a great Black History Month! A reminder to also read diverse every chance you get! Not only during February! With that being said, with this being the shortest month of the year, I only was able to knock out 7 books. I finished one right as the month turned to March. Look for that review in a little bit. End of the Month Wrap Up - January '25

  Here we are at the end of the first month in this new year! I can't believe it's already over! This edition of the Wrap Ups is going to be packed with some information about my bookish life on top of the breakdown for where the books that I was able to read in January fell!  Bookish Life Update- I have managed to put together my second book shelf and it's already almost full. I need to buy another...already. My backlog of special edition books is so large that once I get them all, I know the list will still continue to stay long! I have added another subscription to my line up. Which brings me to a total of 6. One of them I'm thinking about canceling...simply because I haven't really known any of the titles that they have and they don't seem to have many special editions outside of the subscription. We'll see how I feel by the end of the next renewal. Anyway, I've decided to set my goal for this year at 100 books! Which is 25 more than last year. For ...
