Bewitched - Review

I can't believe I waited this long to indulge in this world!! I was thinking this was going to be more YA for some reason. Oh no...this is no where near that!! I really enjoyed Memnon and Selene. I loved their interaction with each other and how quirky Selene is. Of course I also loved how crazily obsessed Memnon is with Selene. I can't wait for them to get together even though Memnon is a tad on the crazy side. He's entirely part of the touch her and die gang. Like literally, he'd annihilate everyone. This should definitely be interesting to see why things are the way the are in the next book!! I have no negatives for this book. 
    The spice is giving slow burn. I am ready to explode. I have to give it a 3 because there was literally nothing between the characters but you feel it. You just know it's going to be amazing once it happens and man.....I can't wait. I give this book a 5 overall! I really loved it. The way the magic system is and the mystery around what's happened with Memnon and who is attempting to kill Selene. Love it. All of it. I can't wait to start book 2!! Laura Thalassa just hits it out the park for me everytime! Definitely recommend this to anyone who loved their men dark, their FMCs funny and relatable and their slow burns!

This book was so good! This is my first book from this author and I'm definitely going back for seconds. Angela and Ryan were adorable! I listened to this on audible and at first it was hard to understand the male narrator but after awhile it was easy and I loved hearing him. The story was beautiful! It dealt with a lot of real life issues without making them super heavy. I liked the interaction between the sisters, which reminded me so much of my own. Most of the men were terrible to the women in this book but then there were examples of men who were good to their women as well. Then there was also the misunderstandings. Usually I dislike miscommunication in books but this was very understandable. They were in a situation that was bad for the both of them and their relationship.    I finally decided to take the plunge and start this series. This book was really good and I felt so much for Elise. She has so much happening and to see her experience moments of pure happiness was the most rewarding part of this book. As for the men, whew, I really want to continue this series just to see how she is able to resolve the fact that two of the men are mortal enemies. How are they going to come to terms with each other? They are mortal enemies and their families have hated each other for generations!! The others I can see getting along just because but generational enemies?!?!?! That right there is enough to make me want to finish the series. There are so many things that are thrown in here that I'm like, GIVE ME MORE!! I have to know what's going on! The principle, what's his deal because I just feel like he's involved some how.
