Feathers So Vicious - Review

So, I want to preface this with saying that this book is definitely dark. I knew that going in and I've read from this author before so I definitely knew a little of what I was getting into. She has created another world that has been so interesting!! Our characters are at odds with each other from the very beginning and even though we understand the pain from each side, Malyr takes it to another level. By the end of this book, I didn't really care for him. Sebian on the other hand. Must be protected at all cost!! His story is heartbreaking as well yet he's much nicer than Malyr. I wanted justice for them both! The flashbacks of them were terrible!! A world where anyone can look at a child and hurt them is a world with truly evil people. So again, check your triggers because they all go through it! I could have 

The spice in this book was whew! Galantia truly had the best of both worlds with Malyr and Sebian!! 5 out of 5 for spice!! Overall, I have this book a 4 out of 5. The ending was kinda predictable. Galantia needing love the way she did made it obvious she was ripe to be tricked. She was also giving damsel for most of the book and I hated that for her. I still really enjoyed this world and these characters. Again this is a DARK Romance. You'll need to be prepared for everything that comes with that. This is definitely not a starter dark romance either. This thing goes full tilt. Can't wait to see what's going to happen after that ending!! I'd recommend this to those who are already lovers of dark romance and are prepared to take this journey with Galantia, Malyr and Sebian!!

 The next series that I decided to take on in my re-read sessions was the Wolf Hotel series by KA Tucker. This series was one that I devoured when I originally read it so I wanted to see if it still hit the same as then! This first book definitely has taken advantage of the naive virgin trope and really let it go full tilt. We meet Abbi as she is going through one of the worst moments in her life.   Whew, this book has definitely reminded my why I love this authors writing. This book was so so good! I enjoyed stepping into this world of unknowns, dragons and gifted. I will say this is definitely going to be a series that I devour. Be careful of  your triggers with this one because it is definitely a dark fantasy romance. Calista is definitely a fiesta FMC who will fight for what she wants and will take nothing less. She starts out in a pretty terrible situation with no light at the end of the tunnel only to be taken and put into another situation that had the potential to be worse than the previous one that she was in. Then we also have Talon. When we first meet him, he is definitely someone who we are supposed to not like. This is definitely enemy to friends with benefits to enemies and hopefully back to lovers. Beneath Hoof and Hollow - ARC Review

This was a great dark spicy Halloween read!! I really enjoyed this! Em and Fier definitely matched each other's freak. In all forms from the blood and guts to the pumpkin magic cum! Emmeline had to be strong to dry years of teaching to try to not only save herself but also the other women of the village. I can't help but wonder if the men who joined on Itrimorts side thought about the fact that she they killed all the women they wouldn't have any.... apparently not. Even though too many women died before the demon could be killed,  a good prob of them were still able to be saved. I liked the characters in this book, especially sassy Horace! A for spice, you might as well put it in all caps because this book had it in spades. From invisible man sex to pumpkin monster sex. It was packed in these pages. Solid 5 out of 5 on spice. Overall I'd give this book a 4 out of 5. It was enjoyable, freaky and told beautifully. There was no dull moments and everything flow...
