This book definitely almost took me out of my comfort zone. I'm always for age gap books but it always gets a little awkward when the FMC knew the MMC when she was young. That's what we were faced with in this book when Isabella got with Luca. Even though he knew her and didn't interact with her, it was still weird that he slightly knew her. These two getting together though was really a match made in heaven. The grandfather wanted them together and so did the FMC. They were perfect. Even though it took some time for them to get to be the perfect couple, it was beautiful. Of course with this series there is almost always someone with a disability. We see them both have the ability to come back from that. I enjoyed this book so much! 

The spice in this book was very nice and very generous. I gave this a 5 out of 5 for the spice. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Mafia and Age gap romance. Overall, I gave this a 4 out of 5. This book had everything that I needed! There was age gap, there was an FMC being badass, mafia and a MMC also being BA. There was no parents behaving badly, everything was perfect. Very high on my recommend list! Start this series ASAP

 The next series that I decided to take on in my re-read sessions was the Wolf Hotel series by KA Tucker. This series was one that I devoured when I originally read it so I wanted to see if it still hit the same as then! This first book definitely has taken advantage of the naive virgin trope and really let it go full tilt. We meet Abbi as she is going through one of the worst moments in her life. She just found out that her fiancé cheated on her. Of course she comes from a super religious background meaning that they feel like it's ok for the man to do this while she must remain chaste.   Whew, this book has definitely reminded my why I love this authors writing. This book was so so good! I enjoyed stepping into this world of unknowns, dragons and gifted. I will say this is definitely going to be a series that I devour. Be careful of  your triggers with this one because it is definitely a dark fantasy romance. Calista is definitely a fiesta FMC who will fight for what she wants and will take nothing less. She starts out in a pretty terrible situation with no light at the end of the tunnel only to be taken and put into another situation that had the potential to be worse than the previous one that she was in. Then we also have Talon. When we first meet him, he is definitely someone who we are supposed to not like. This is definitely enemy to friends with benefits to enemies and hopefully back to lovers. Beneath Hoof and Hollow - ARC Review

This was a great dark spicy Halloween read!! I really enjoyed this! Em and Fier definitely matched each other's freak. In all forms from the blood and guts to the pumpkin magic cum! Emmeline had to be strong to dry years of teaching to try to not only save herself but also the other women of the village. I can't help but wonder if the men who joined on Itrimorts side thought about the fact that she they killed all the women they wouldn't have any.... apparently not. Even though too many women died before the demon could be killed,  a good prob of them were still able to be saved. I liked the characters in this book, especially sassy Horace! A for spice, you might as well put it in all caps because this book had it in spades. From invisible man sex to pumpkin monster sex. It was packed in these pages. Solid 5 out of 5 on spice.
