Viciously Yours - Review
I liked this book! Even though the characters were 25 and sometimes acted like they were teenagers. I will say that Rennick is my kinda guy. In books that is. In reality he's a lil cray for sure. I really enjoyed his savagery. He was willing to do whatever it took when it came to his mate. I actually enjoyed the beginning a lot. Them leading separate lives and having to send notes to each other through out the years until they could be together was so cute. Even though most of the notes weren't that long, getting to see both sides of the notes was just so endearing. Once they finally got together I was surprised that I was really on team Rennick so hard! He was just a guy trying to get to his mate and hoped that everything worked out. I liked that he wasn't one of those characters who was unhappy with the fact that his mate was human and just accepted it for what it was. I would love to get a story for Finn. He was the bestie that we all need. Though there was times that I was surprised that he didn't swing on Rennick for being a jerk. Ora on the other hand was just a really trash person. The reveal that happens later was a little interesting. I knew there had to be some kind of twist but I didn't expect it to go the full monte.
The spice in this book was nice. I loved getting an inexperienced MMC as well as a semi inexperienced FMC. It was a definite shake up of how things usually are in most books. The way they ended up exploring that side of their relationship together was beautiful! I gave the spice a 4 out of 5. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes Fae, Fated Mates and exploring new worlds. This book is relatively light and would be a good read when you need to come up from air after diving into the darkness, if that is your sip of tea like it is mine.
