Wards & Warlocks - ARC Review

Two of my fave characters from Weres & Witchery have gotten their story! Felix and Liam was the second chance romance that I didn't know I needed! I loved getting to see Jenna and Chase again. Ya'll know I love when the interconnected, interconnects. These two had a lot to work through to get to their happy ever after. Past pain is almost always harder to deal with than current. Just like our previous couple though, they were able to slowly but surely work through their issues. With each of their quirkiness you will fall for these characters. That's of course, if you didn't already love them like I did. Be prepared to laugh and love right alongside these two!

The spice in this book was definitely...spicy! Whew these two were definitely spicing up the pages. There wasn't a whole lot of spice but what was there was nice. I gave this a 3 out of 5 for spice. Overall, I enjoyed this read. As always, getting our girl Jenna and Chase again from the first book was my cup of tea. Also, there is more to come from the city of Havers and I can't wait to get more. This little town has been worming it's way into my heart. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants likes second chance romance, PNR and hot men!!

 The next series that I decided to take on in my re-read sessions was the Wolf Hotel series by KA Tucker. This series was one that I devoured when I originally read it so I wanted to see if it still hit the same as then! This first book definitely has taken advantage of the naive virgin trope and really let it go full tilt. We meet Abbi as she is going through one of the worst moments in her life. She just found out that her fiancé cheated on her. Of course she comes from a super religious background meaning that they feel like it's ok for the man to do this while she must remain chaste. Beneath Hoof and Hollow - ARC Review

This was a great dark spicy Halloween read!! I really enjoyed this! Em and Fier definitely matched each other's freak. In all forms from the blood and guts to the pumpkin magic cum! Emmeline had to be strong to dry years of teaching to try to not only save herself but also the other women of the village. I can't help but wonder if the men who joined on Itrimorts side thought about the fact that she they killed all the women they wouldn't have any.... apparently not. Even though too many women died before the demon could be killed,  a good prob of them were still able to be saved. I liked the characters in this book, especially sassy Horace! A for spice, you might as well put it in all caps because this book had it in spades. From invisible man sex to pumpkin monster sex. It was packed in these pages. Solid 5 out of 5 on spice. Overall I'd give this book a 4 out of 5. It was enjoyable, freaky and told beautifully. There was no dull moments and everything flow...

The Death King - Review

  Whew, this book has definitely reminded my why I love this authors writing. This book was so so good! I enjoyed stepping into this world of unknowns, dragons and gifted. I will say this is definitely going to be a series that I devour. Be careful of  your triggers with this one because it is definitely a dark fantasy romance. Calista is definitely a fiesta FMC who will fight for what she wants and will take nothing less. She starts out in a pretty terrible situation with no light at the end of the tunnel only to be taken and put into another situation that had the potential to be worse than the previous one that she was in. Then we also have Talon. When we first meet him, he is definitely someone who we are supposed to not like. This is definitely enemy to friends with benefits to enemies and hopefully back to lovers.
