 I liked this book more than I liked the first one! I didn't think I would like a softer story but this one was definitely that. It picks up some of the things that we saw from the first book and takes us to Leticia and Royal's POV. Then we advance with their story and how things are able to work out for the rest of them. I am definitely hoping to get a story for Berto at this point. I almost feel like he's the misunderstood brother who isn't as bad as he seems. Back to our current couple though, I really liked getting to know more about Royal and him being Pan made so much sense. I loved how open and honest he was with his feelings and his wants. I liked how Leticia was pretty much the same way. The way that their romance seemed almost conflict free for the two of them was such a breath of fresh air. Like I just really liked reading this. The issues came from outside instead of the two of them having miscommunications and other crazy stuff with each other. Their relationship was pure and I just really ate that up. Don't get it twisted though, Royal was still out here throwing hands and letting people know not to mess with him nor his woman and I loved that. Softer doesn't necessarily mean that he's a push over. He has a different kind of strength and I admire that. Leticia also had a lot to go through and I hope that we can catch more glimpses of these two as they go through more of their relationship. There are definitely some things I would love to get answers to with them but their main story is done and beautiful.

The spice in this one was nice. Royal is one to talk you through it and he definitely did for Leticia and it was HOT! I would give this a 3 out of 5 on the spice scale. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and it felt like a breath of fresh air. In a world where people have issues with communication and being open with each other, these two and their relationship felt easy and just beautiful to see. I can't wait for more in this series and I would definitely recommend Royal and Leticia's story if you are looking for something spicy but with great communication. The shifter and mafia girlies will eat this up for sure!

This was spicy!! I love omegaverse books and this one had everything you could ask for, heats, alphas, slick, knotting and more!! Elli is a scarred omega who is looking to find herself again after surviving cancer. She finds a kindred soul in Rhen who is also disfigured. They both are looking to affirm themselves in their roles. Elli is a human and Rhen is from a different planet but still has the ABO dynamic. I really liked how this world has everything set up and I would love to read more from this world.  The spice was amazing.  If course since it's all about heat they are banging all over the place. 5 out of 5 for spice. Overall this was a really good short read. It felt like a great book to pick up after being lost in the world of dark romance. Rhen is protective and caring for Elli. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys omegaverse and alien romance!!

It Breaks Me - Review

      In book 2 of the Betrayal series we are back with Scarlett and Axel. We get introduced to the Skull King and get even more info on the relationship between Axel and his parents. The world is almost flipped on its head in this book and it leaves some of the characters in a tail spin. I feel like while some things were fixed in this book, other things left me wanting to shake just about every character in this book. Scarlett, because for all her smarts, she's blind to the one person who is actually up to no good. Then Axel for not attempting to do something with his parentals. Something has to change with that relationship or he needs to make them accept his help in keeping them safe. It's insane to me that someone as smart as him hasn't come up with a plan to keep his parents safe. A Fate of Wrath & Flame - Review

 I will say, that I was very surprised by this book. If you look at my recent reads, you'd think I'm on a binge of this author. It was purely unintentional. Going from Wolf Hotel to this is such a jarring change. Not only because one series is a contemporary romance and the other is a fantasy novel but because there is such a huge drop in the spice level and quality. I was expecting the same thing even though the genres are so different. I had to slog through this book. Romeria was getting on my last nerves for most of this book. Granted she is thrown into a crazy situation (like seriously, what the hell) but I really did have some serious eye rolls happening. I mean seriously, this situation is honestly quite wild. I'm not saying that I would handle it any better but idk. She was getting on my nerves. Actually a lot of them were getting on my nerves.
