      This was a quick read...or at least it felt like it. I tend to stray away from books that have the FMC being some weak willed damsel that needs to be saved at every turn. Especially when she doesn't try to help herself. This book definitely felt that way in the beginning. I wanted to shake some sense into Charia!! I just wanted her to grow a backbone. Then of course everytime she tried to be defiant it never went her way. From one tragedy to another. I was also thrown for a loop with the men. Like I thought it was going to be the four men and her....then just the one guy and her. Like I was so confused then it went to the three guys and her. My eyes were spinning like a spinning top! She never seemed to really get attached to anyone in particular. Then once I thought she did, she ran away from him! It was strange. Then the reveal of who killed her mother.  Who is Queen Reviews          Here is an introduction to me!! I realized towards the end of the year that I just popped up out of no where without letting you guys know anything about me! Well here it is, the introduction post! Feel free to ask any questions in the comments and I will try to get to them in later in the week or even make a new post with some answers to your most pressing questions or even some of your crazier ones! So here we go! Why do you read and what made you start a blog? Well, honestly, I started reading when I was young and it didn't immediately take off with me. It took awhile for me to find a genre that I really liked and for me to fall in love with reading.             This book continues right where the previous book left off, almost without a hitch. I will admit that there were some people that were brought up that I had completely forgotten about. I wish that books had like a glossary or somewhere where they give a synopsis of what happened in the previous book. I was able to remember some things and things started to click. I do feel like this book was definitely more jambled than the previous book. In the first book you had the feeling that there was a definite destination and that the author had things planned out for how she was going to get us there and the reveals were happening at just the right time. However in this one, I felt adrift and like there was not a clear destination for this book. Clearly there was still the big bad that was Ravena and then the two Noblesse who left at the end of the previous book and the trauma that Isolde was dealing with when her father tried to murder her.    This book was hot from start to finish!! My first 4 star read of the year for sure!! The story dragged in some places but it was heart wrenching and kept me coming back for more!! The idea of being reincarnated and finding that love again in every life is amazing and I feel for both Valtu and Dahlia (this time). Going in, I knew this was a Duet but I thought the mid point would have had a different ending. **WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD** The threat of Saara and Aleksi was never completed. Like we end the book with them still alive and still having the book of spells. So I'm wondering if they will make a return in the next book. It will be interesting to see how Valtu changes from his experience with Dahlia in Italy. He will more than likely be reluctant to love again even though finally this incarnation of his love is a little harder to kill. There is also still the threat of the guild. Even though we know that Valtu and Solon have vowed to avenge those wrongfully us...

 2022 Book Challenge          Well another year another book challenge, this year I will again be trying to complete my book challenge for GoodReads. Last year I had a challenge of 100 books. I was very surprised that I didn't manage to make it. For a few years prior to this I was able to complete my challenges and there was way more books on my challenge then. Many people are always commenting on the fact that they don't want to do book challenges because they read for pleasure, well even with this challenge being something that is big on my radar, I definitely still read for pleasure. I do try to complete it and maintain my integrity with the reads that I do choose. So in other words, the challenge makes things that much more fun and interesting. I'm going to continue to use my blog here as somewhere to post the reviews that I have for those books in the challenge.             This book picked up right where the previous book left off and takes us straight to Lilith after she finds out that she is The Crimson Demon. And from there it felt like nothing really happened in this book. Unfortunately this one is going to be one of the books that I did not care for. The characters just weren't very memorable. Usually when I jump back into a series book that I haven't read for awhile, I'm able to recall something about the characters and something of the plot...I wasn't able to do that for most of this book. I was able to remember bits and pieces from the first one but that's about it. Everything feels very muddy and disoriented. I hate that, because I was looking forward to this series but it's just not resonating for me. I don't think that Lilith has enough time with the men individually now and there are just so many characters that are popping up. It's hard to keep them straight.         ...

 End of the Year Wrap Up          This last year has been full of new books and great reads!! It's time for my End of The Year Wrap Up!! Going to give you the highlights and the best reads of each month. Then I'll reveal my best book of the year...if I can choose of course. There weren't too many bad reads this year. Well here we go!! January 2022 Favorite Read of the Month : Badlands by Stacie Marie Brown     What can I say, Warwick Farkas has definitely made a big impression on me. I loved this book and even though I read 3 of these books this month, I enjoyed this one the most!
